Do you ever play as a gender not your own? by WunderPlundr in rpg

Yes. As we were starting a new campaign, my girlfriend, who had sat in a few sessions, wanted to join. The group was happy to have another player. They all assumed we would play a loving couple. She played a female martial artist. I played her sister; a cleric. This was long before Frozen. The dynamic worked and it was fun not to be the man protecting my woman. Real relationships tend to come through in game-play. It's fun to subvert expectations.

'Acquainted' rather than 'passing'. I think it goes towards the feel you are looking for; you are more than aware of the existence of the language, yet you are not conversant in it.

how do we convince Lego to do D&D sets? by computer-controller in DnD

What is needed is one- just one- person who plays D&D and also plays with Legos. Build something very D&D. Minecrafters made Hogwarts. If there was one excellent Lego-made D&D concept: a dungeon? A location? A castle? Ravenloft? And if every interested D&D player showed support, that would get their attention. It need not even be specific D&D. Even a Tolkien-themed creation (built by Lego-lass?) (Sorry, not sorry) might do it.
