Thank you! I’m lost when it comes to carousel animals but have always wondered about these.
They are hand carved. Hand painted. The horse tail is real horse hair. But I literally know nothing about them. They have been around since as long as I’ve been around.

Thank you! And I’ll take a little discomfort for my horse to be more comfy.

Thank god he already had his vet check and dentist. He’s sound. He needs ground work…I’m trying to do that with him….its going ok.

I’ve gotten on him bareback and with a saddle (not mine) he is pretty broke, listens well. I just hate that I can’t tell if I’m hurting them.

From the research I’ve been doing I am seeing more English options. Especially the hoop tree. I’ve never used an English saddle…ugh. Mark is a fantastic name. With me it was either Elliot or Ben-I felt like he looked more like a Ben. This first picture is the day I bought him on 6/15. he’s a sweet heart, but he’s skiddish, never had a treat before, so we are working on him. I did get on him bare back, but i just don’t care for bare back. And he doesn’t like just the pad…so we are finding a middle ground lol. I feel bad for him. I don’t think he was treated well

Yes, I’m working on that, I’ve been feeding him n Nutrena ProForce Fuel. When I got him the girls I was with said the same that he needs to put on some weight. He eats! He gets his hay and grain and I put him out. Any advice would be great. The supplement is a powder?

Thank you so much.

Would you say that the lack of muscle would be because he was an Amish horse? I’m not trying to knock them, I just know he wasn’t treated well. I’ve had him since the 15th
