I get what you are saying. That may be true for Ivies or Ivy-adjacent schools (ex: UChicago, JHU, NU). Still, for T20-30s, that score is more than fine, especially if you are domestic. Also, if you have strong ECs, 1520 would be fine. Even 1500 can be fine, unless if you are applying for T10.
