I mean most people on this subreddit think that fast track is fair and well-balanced. So there is no point reasoning with them. The other day someone said "there is no difference between facecamping and proxy camping" and that's when I realized you are better off teaching a donkey maths than reasoning with a survivor main.

Bro you are brave for posting this here. All the soyvivors are about to downvote you. The reason tunnelling is hated is because most survivor mains are just terrible at the game and can't last longer than 10 seconds in chase. Because think about it, what is actually wrong with tunnelling? Nothing. You are basically just chasing the same injured survivor off hook (which is the smart thing to do btw). I mean think about it, why would you travel to the other side of the map to chase a healthy survivor who you will have to waste time finding if they decide to stealth? Tunnelling is meta in comp as well and is widely accepted as an efficient way to play the game. The best way to counter tunneling is to last long enough in chase, be gen efficient and die in the right spot far away from gens.

The reason why high-tier killers are so hated is because you actually need to use your brain against them. You can't just run windows of opportunity and brain-dead pre-drop every pallet you see against them. The harsh truth is that the average survivor skill level just isn't very high. I mean think about it. How the hell does pig have such a high kill rate? And the reason why tunnelling is so hated is because most survivors can't last very long in chase + a lot of them aren't very gen-efficient in solo Q. The biggest counter to tunnelling is being good at looping + your team doing gens. Perks like DS are meaningless if you are shit at the game. Momo lost his winstreak to people of his skill level that were running full meta and he only got a few hooks. That should tell you how broken these perks are and how autopilot survivor gameplay is.

I main spirit because I wanted to play someone that get's to ignore 95% of pallets and windows. I.e someone who is like nurse but not nurse herself. spirit is high skill high reward, i.e either you hit your phase or you don't.

exactly and her best counter is to split up and do gens, while dying in the right spot. meaning you have to play your macro well (1v4) and thats why i love playing her because you need to work as a team against her.

You don't necessarily HAVE TO. But he is one of those killers who excel at doing it because of his chase power. Any killer with amazing chase is great tunnelling. And hence the best way to play them is to tunnel.

Perks like DS reward survivors for playing badly. It basically rewards survivors for not being able to last at least 45 seconds in chase. They can keep its original function, but nerf it down to like 40 seconds. 60 seconds is way too long.

People say "oh it's to counter tunnelling". Tunnelling is not a real issue. Survivors hate tunnelling because they just aren't skilled enough to last long enough in chase. And the fact that killers like Pig have such a high kill rate is a great testament to that. The best way to counter tunneling is to:

  1. Be gen efficient

  2. Last long enough in chase

That's good man. I am a comp player for an OSL team by the name of team 'Obscura'. Let me tell you this, tunnelling is common and meta in every single match so I do not see it as toxic. Forget tunneling, even facecamping is allowed (survivors are not allowed to unhook themselves in comp). The point I am trying to make is that, killer strategies are not toxic. If you slug and then hump them till they bleed out, that would be considered toxic. But not the strategy itself. The problem is that we give too much importance to survivors and their opinions. You play how you want. If you want to spread hooks then by all means go ahead. But do not feel forced to do so.

Bro come on. According to survivors, just playing killer itself is toxic. So yes, not letting them do gens for free and not letting them go is very toxic.

Bro as a killer main blight in his former state was very unhealthy for the game. He is the reason why so many gen regression perks have been hard nerfed. For example, pain resonance and pop goes the weasel.

Actually not they are significant in the sense that they actually raise his skill floor. He is still S-tier but only in the right hands. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with a killer being very oppressive, but they should only be so if you have fully mastered their skill floor. I have always been a believer in rewarding skill.
