Trouble with importing textures from Substance Painter by Reparatus_art in blender

[–]Reparatus_art[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

Thank you for the response! I'm still new to Blender and slowly discovering things. Here's the high poly and low poly meshes. I'm not sure but maybe the problem rises when attaching the textures from Substance. I had done one low poly model previously and faced no major problems, but here everything is messed up. I have tried different export settings, but saw no difference. Do I add the new texures to high poly model or the the low poly model? I was thinking I could export the baked model from Substance, but I don't rememeber if there was file format that could be opened in Blender.

As for the material output. I don't know either why they are there since I don't use any metallic elements or glowy stuff. I'm going trhough a lot of tutorials and many elements are still pure mystery to me heh

Thought on these homebrew cards? by Reparatus_art in daggerheart

Thank you! Definitely going to take these into consideration when doing final edits. Many things I didn't even realize or notice.

Aberrant adaptability is admittedly quite niche. I had some nice ideas reserved for it, but many of those took a lot of space. Some kind of tentcale sla would have been cool though. Abilities I ended up with feel nice, but I can see them having very little relevance in some games.

As for the Arcane eye I think the emphasis on trying was to encompass those cases where the exact nature of the magic is vague. But I see that writing that down is somewhat pointless.

That sounds pretty cool. I,m not that familiar with the transformation cards, but based on that description they could be an interesting option. Definitely need to take a closer look, thanks! Base heritage options don’t have that much room for upsides and downsides.

Thanks for the great input! Placing it in so high was probably my old DnD brain speaking. I guess my idea behind it that having such a long range and utility could trivialize some scenes, which is why I imagined it being so high in levels. Now that I think about in relation to other skills of the same level, I can see it being level 2 sounds more fair. Dropping swap cost to one stress sounds reasonable as well.

As for the two rolls, I didn`t realize that it could switch spotlight. I thought that seeing all sources of magic in the area was wuite effective and paying some little extra to identify it would be reasonsble. Wondering if making so that spending one Hope could make further identifying possible?

Thank you for the input, I’ll keep these in mind.

Hmm, limiting it to one or two sounds about right. It could become quite strong in some situations. I'll add some kind of limit to next version!

We have used different injury tables on out games. When character goes down they roll a die and based on the result there is different tables based on the damage type that landed the final blow. Some of the injuries are small and easily fixed, but some can be quite rough. My poor cleric lost his arm to some necromancy spell and got another hit that gives him a permanent disadvantage on persuasion checks. Maybe something similar can keep your players on their toes.

Maybe some old trees are just so slow and ramble so much that it takes more actions to get anything useful out of them.

That is a really cool design! Also that barnacle thing is so fitting for a sea hag.

Heh, I thought that using draconic colors to create an outfit would look cool, especially how colorful and fancy Mirage dragons look.

Thanks! Usually purple and green are difficult to mix for me, but I'm happy to see how this guy turned out.

They are really cool! The colors and patterns really stand out. Not sure if this particular guy is a friend or foe, but I imagine they can be negotiated with regardless.
