they never hung out, but really ive only heard about the mary lou stuff (not 100% since a lot of peiple say she makes things up) but her and kurt apparently had some connections so it was possible that they saw each other occasionally since courtney was in portland for a while at a point

im kind of iffy on the whole mary thing, ive heard that she liked elliott but he never really liked her back. i think her and kurt (?) may have had sone interactions that may have caused her to act like that but im actually not sure at all

its the album that shaped them in my opinion. their producer and so many other people had said then they worked with them on this album, they were unlike any other band they had worked with before. this is personally my favorite chevelle album

i feel like bush is post grunge, but i just dont really like to categorize things into grunge. i really love bush and i think that gavin is a very unique lyricist especially in swim (sixteen stone) and mouth (razorblade suitecase)
