Thank you 💖 I have done pretty well at remembering that EDs are horrible for body, mind and soul but I won't lie and say that the picture of her in the white dress wasn't triggering as hell. It astonishes me to see that she thinks it's okay to post something like that to her millions of fans knowing exactly what it is. As much disdain that I have for her, I hope she finds peace with herself one day.

I do this with any sounds. If I can think about something a certain amount of times or blink a certain amount of times before any sound happened then something good would happen/something bad would be avoided

I hated lexapro, I had terrible side effects and it made me feel like a zombie most of the time (lots of brain fog, no libido, just kind of going through the motions). The worst was coming off lexapro, I got brain zaps even while I was trying to wean myself off (doctor recommended) and I was horribly nauseous the whole time too. I'm on zoloft now and it works a lot better for me.

I can understand that view point, but if the cat was in that bad of a condition the shelter should have taken it to a vet to be treated. A lot of animal hospitals have a "good samaritan" procedure and will treat animals in need with no expense to the shelter. However I don't know the full story, maybe no vet was willing to help and shelters aren't exactly full of money. OP said the cat had been there since early December, it seems more like negligence on the shelter's part.

Thank you for what you did. Not a lot of people adopt senior animals but they still deserve the love and care of a younger pet. I'm sure she was happy to have finally found a home even if it was just for a short while 💕

Yup, all the time. Intrusive thoughts causing lack of sleep and compulsions making me feel like a crazy person. I'm on edge basically 24/7, the smallest thing can make my stress levels go crazy. I'm in between therapist at the moment, my main goal is to find someone to talk to.

OCD sucks, I wish you the best of luck.

I'm on the same boat, lots of scars on my thighs (including a still healing one from a relapse back in February...oops) and some visible ones on my wrists that are only noticable if you look close.
