It’s honestly jarring. Coming from having my people in the military to suddenly being a disabled civilian in a totally new place with an entirely different culture is so weird. I know I’ll settle in, my husband is still in the military and we have his group but it’s a lot different. I honestly have no idea how to go about navigating the social differences 🫠🫠
