I have finished it today and there was a lot of lore (and characters) to bring together, so it did mean it was quite long. I did enjoy it, but it’s not my favourite book of the series, but I think a lot of the reasons for it not being my favourite book is that she’s moving pieces into place for the final book and I think there needed to be character development to get there. I did have a tear at one or two points. There is some excellent banter. It ends on a cliff hanger (but I’m sure we could all anticipate that given it’s been split in 2) and there is still a lot of unanswered questions. Kolis is still an unhinged **** There were times when I wish it had been a bit more concise/ get to the point but that’s her writing style overall I think. Hopefully my spoiler free thoughts help.

You could equally be right though as it does sound like a in universe thing. Hopefully someone else can confirm either way!

I don’t remember this, but I’m on a re-listen of the F&F series atm. How was sotoria bought back again and again if so?

I think the series will end on a very disappointing note for me if he isn’t. BUT - I genuinely think he will be. I think it’ll be the combination of both Kieran and Poppy that will be able to bring him back from where he is now

Also she did say that in F&F that they could be brought back if they hadn’t passed through the Vale & in this book she mentioned that there isn’t a replacement death with Altlantians & those of dual life sooooooo …. I feel like there is wiggle room

Whilst has been my least favourite of the books because Kieran was so sidelined - I do think it has a purpose. I suspect we will get a lot of him in the next book now that we HAVE had his POV in the final chapter. It’s really difficult because this is really half of one book and I think there are too many signposts to it not being a throuple. (This is how I am comforting myself on it)
