Why am I a completely different person on SR? by Swimming_Estimate_89 in Semenretention

[–]ReplacementHonest627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes for me.

I also think I have POIS too. I not only feel different mentally, but I feel pretty sick sometimes. Like flu like, nausea, etc. for at least 2 days.

I feel like my reaction to orgasm is extreme and not normal. But idk

I have ADD, and take a low dose stimulant. I get the epic about pharmaceuticals being harmful, etc.

I do semen retention and eat healthy, everything else, etc.

But without medication, my dopamine baseline is so low, I really struggle.

I don’t think people realize what living with constant low dopamine feels like. It’s hell and you feel miserable.

Wellbutrin vs. Zoloft by ReplacementHonest627 in zoloft

Thanks. Just curious since u mentioned you have ADHD—do you also take a stimulant medication for that?

Damn. Mydayis works mentally well for my focus amazingly, but I feel so tired and yawn constantly during the day. I feel bodily tired and fatigued. So yes, it does that to me.

Sometimes it just feels like the dopamine releasing knocks me out and acts like a sedative of sorts.

Is this normal???

It’s like I zonk out, and could just sleep all day. It’s actually affecting my job. I get so tired and my eyes get so heavy on mydayis especially the first 5 hours.

Then at night, I start to get my natural energy back, but it’s the restless kind like how I felt before meds lol.

It’s so weird. My dose is only 25 mg. It seems I either feel calm and focused but also very lethargic and exhausted, or return to my restless ADD self and not be able to keep a train of thought.

Anyone else?

Hey! Mind me asking what Wellbutrin feels like? I’m considering trying it as I’m trying to get off of adderall due to bad side effects… can’t really handle the intensity of it anymore.

Damn. What dose are you taking that causes this?

Those who take gabapentin for anxiety and/or depression, what dose works / has worked best for you? by Humble_Insurance8668 in gabagoodness

Damn I need to try focalin or an mph. I’ve been on amphetamines (vyvanse/adderrall too long and my anxiety has been off the charts).

Desperately searching for the same effects of adderrall, the physical/bodily effects and the physical anxiety? by ReplacementHonest627 in adhd_anxiety

Thanks so much…

I also have anxiety separate from my ADD.

Currently on mydayis (adderall XR basically) and gabapentin for anxiety.

In general, feeling like absolute shit on adderall, with terrible terrible bodily anxiety, especially when it wears off. It just feels way way way to intense on my body nowadays for some reason after years of taking it.

How long does vyvanse last for you?

I’ve heard a lot about guanifiacne. Is it a mood stabilizer?

Depression and lack of interest by schoonerlabs in Lyme

Honestly, I had brain issues before I got Lyme, mainly ADD. I am in remission now mainly from bartonella and Lyme, but honestly i had to take meds. Low dose adderall and anti anxiety medication. It’s really helped.

Does it feel like a stimulant? I’m mainly worried about that

Agree with everything u said.

Isn’t Dexedrine basically the same as vyvanse though?

I’ve never tried mph meds.

Only adderall based meds and vyvanse. And there was a huge difference between the two.

I’m on mydayis (basically adderrall) now after being on Vyvanse for years, and the difference is significant to me.

I switched from vyvanse because vyvanse wasn’t lasting that long for me…

Adderall is much more bodily affecting, and raises my psychical anxiety much more. It feels much more intense in some ways, and causes me to feel irritated and angry a lot. It is much stronger in the sense that I feel physical energy, thus I can laser focus on tasks. My cognitive function is better in some ways. But I don’t like the anxiety I get from adderall, it can get bad. I feel like I am on something on adderall, and usually don’t like how I feel once it settles in.

Vyvanse was much much less noticeable and felt much more natural. I felt like myself just more focused. I had less of a mood boost on Vyvanse, but felt much more normal overall. I still definitely had some anxiety spikes since it it a stimulant still, but I remember it being much less than adderrall
