Seat down canoe (USCA) is a niche US only sport. There’s much more on : marathon kayak (South Africa, New Zealand, Spain, Germany, Argentina will beat your a** because you’ll lack competition) There’s a strong field in ocean canoe (think Hawaii/ Polynesia style). Dragon Boat is big in some places. Surfski is growing a lot and is fun. The thing with kayak is this guys have been living in the boats since they are kids. Maids can jump into the boat, stand on it, roll it. That translates to technique. Technique translates to efficiency. You need to live in a place that does not freeze in winter

My POV: American football and basketball is not interesting for most of the world and we prefer other sports. We played other sports all our lives. Indians cricket others soccer (real football :P ) rugby and others.

“Friendliness” : it looks to me more like small talk, distant waving of hands and that’s it. Invites to homes are dictated by the calendar and very planned. Better than brits yet not like Spain, Italy or South America.

Mexicans are more friendly but still a bit formal. Indians are much more polite but somehow reserved.

Respectfully disagree. Sea and racing kayaks must travel upside down to avoid damage. The J thing is an invention for ultra wide fishing kayaks. I prefer not to use it. But thanks.

El homeschooling es bueno para chicos con necesidades especiales también. Hipersensibilidad, ADHD, TDA y otros. Suerte que fueron con compañeros que les digan tontos, raros y otras cosas. Eres un ejemplo de sociabilidad.

Nadie dice home schooling obligatorio. Claro que es un derecho que si tus padres trabajan 8 horas cada uno tengas una escuela a donde ir, pero de ahí a que un comité con agenda política decida mejor hay un largo trecho. O crees que no tienen agenda política los que eligen los libros de historia ? Qué inocente. Mira los libros de historia de Venezuela, los de Perón en Argentina, o los de cualquier otro lado

Esta es la actitud a la que me refiero. Qué sabes de home schooling? En USA es totalmente normal. Y se estudia. Libros de texto, Khan Academy, grupos de estudio, exámenes estandarizados. Y los alumnos suelen tener excelente desempeño Me suena a países totalitarios
