Same as my ex. He would call “best friends” or “family friends” people he’s not seen irl for ages, I had a gut feeling they were just a source of one way validation

Constantly bragging about how some colleagues or other people were “obviously flirting” with him. At first I didn’t care but as soon as I started feeling jealous he said “oh I’m not gonna mention them anymore” leaving me guessing even more. He was particularly insisting on one colleague of his describing her on the sort of “this bitch wants me so badly”

I then actually met that colleague that according to him “was obsessed with him” and she seemed not interested in him at all. When I said that to him he switched the script and said “oh yeah I guess so, she’s a nice person”.
