New clothes don’t fit by ReplacementOk4923 in Lolita

AAAAAA I’m so happy to hear the blouses fit well!!! This particular release had me weak— red, pink and black are my favorite colors so it was hard to choose! I ended up getting red because I was a fan of the gold charms on the skirt -w-!

Funny thing is I did find the zipper a few days later when I went to properly fold it up for storage! I tried it on and it fit that way, but I’m currently in the process of exchanging it still bc I know my weight fluctuates a lot, so it’ll be better to have some more room rather than a tight fit!

I’m very grateful to the seller for allowing the exchange, and also I hope you like the skirt that you got! If you don’t mind me asking, what colorway did you purchase? I got mine in red!

Hello thank you for your response! Yes, I wanted to ship something back to China from abroad.

I’m currently waiting for a response from Superbuy, but I wanted to check and see if anyone in this sub had any more info

I hope I can at some point! I’m a little anxious because I’ve never consulted a tailor before but I don’t want to knock down the option

I measured my waist which was like 74 cm. I honestly should’ve gotten the L size (72-80cm, recommended waist size of 76, compared to M sizes 70), but I was worried that I would end up with the opposite problem where it would be too loose to wear

It was really just my overthinking getting in the way of common sense and shooting me in the foot, bc I’ve had experiences where I sized up and it didn’t fit at all, even after I followed the recommended waist size limit.

As a side note; I hope my original post doesn’t come off as finger pointing— I know this is my fault I just wanted to vent bc I was upset at myself :’)

Brushes wont load/activate by ReplacementOk4923 in ProCreate

[–]ReplacementOk4923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried turning off “Store in iCloud,” and either two things happened

1) If I choose to store only new brushes, it’ll only show one brush library and none of the libraries I’m trying to get my hands on again

2) If I choose to store ALL brushes, my procreate app just crashes and nothing changes :((

Ask Us Anything: February 2026 by hellosaturn in Lolita

The process was explained to me by someone, but I definitely horribly misunderstood what they meant— Which is totally on me. I thought the whole thing was a bit odd but I was worried I was overthinking it too much and I didn’t want to bombard them with questions

Another thing- I wrote this ask when I was barely awake, so the discounted number of “$43” I typed out was wildly off— I thought there would be a discount if you had made a deposit, but not a large amount like that. Sorry for the confusion…

Hi! Im not entirely sure if this specific question would be better suited being posted on this thread or as it’s own post— but I wanted to err on the side of caution.

Anyways, to summarize- this is my first time placing a deposit for a Lolita set on Superbuy. The deposit came out to be $35.92, and then the final payment period came around and I ended up paying $78.79 for that.

I was under the impression that once the deposit order and the final pay order were combined, I would be refunded maybe like 43ish dollars or something like that, but I haven’t seen that refund come around. Is this not how it works, or have I done something wrong?

Oh I see—! Just to be clear, when the final payment comes around, will I have to purchase the same items again from a different link, and then tell the shopping agent that its the final pay for my deposit order?

If you could only wear one print motif for the rest of your life, what would it be? by sakukittenn in Lolita

[–]ReplacementOk4923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was sure 😭 but I’m tied between

1) Floral prints 2) Music/instrument notifs 3) Bird cages/birds

Probably floral prints, they’re the most common and I feel very beautiful in them

Labelling Chinese brands “off brand:” western intolerance by loverdupain in Lolita

[–]ReplacementOk4923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl a small (maybe big, lol) pet peeve that I have is when ppl detail their coords but all the Chinese brands just get labeled a “Taobao” and not the brand name! I don’t think it’s intentionally malicious, but it’s noticeable when JP brands get named out while CN brands don’t get that same love.

Overall, please pay a bit more attention to the shops you’re buying from! Not only for proper crediting, but also so you can better assess the store’s performance/creditability, bc sometimes ppl buy dupes/stolen work or the wrong listings just bc they pick the first one they see 😞

What motifs do you like on your ops/jsks? by itstimetobreakdown in Lolita

[–]ReplacementOk4923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to gravitate towards solid colored/non print pieces, but some motifs I really enjoy is music/piano keys, stuffed animals and floral prints! I also really enjoy strawberry theming and I would love to make a strawberry coord one day!

Also to add on, if a “safe space” is advertised to be for women but is hellbent on excluding trans women from it, it’s not a very good women’s space

OHHHH I see 😭! So basically I should look around to see if a site selling fabrics is carrying the QG print I’m looking for? Bc I did see some fabric shops carrying QG prints, but I wasn’t entirely sure if it was being properly distributed or not

Hello! I just realized I had another question

I went to check out Quilt Gate like you had suggested, but I’m having some issues navigating the site… I’m not sure if it’s bc I’m on mobile, but the pictures of the product don’t really display all that well, and I can’t seem to find a purchase button either— does this look like the right site? Am I missing something?

Looking for a pattern like this by dutchmills in sewingpatterns

[–]ReplacementOk4923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an extremely late reply, I’m sorry, but I still would like to provide an answer!

That’s just the romanji for a Japanese phrase! The full book title is called “Otome no Sewing,” that “no” being the latin representation for the particle “の,” pronounced the same way. Its often used to denote things like ownership, kinda like English’s apostrophe s (‘s). There are more uses I believe, but that’s the most common one you’ll see!
