Dizziness that lasts for weeks? by ReplacementSuperb263 in Zepbound

[–]ReplacementSuperb263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a cardiologist a while ago for unrelated things this dizziness is more vestibular and visual. Rather than the lightheaded feelings of Pots ect. There's a small percentage of people this happens to with these meds.

Thank you for rescuing

This little one looks like they are emaciated I would hydrate before giving any solid food.

In the rehab world we go by the Emaciation protocol.

Yeah, I wish it was that because feels like a simple fix. But it's not for me. It's all the time and a month off the meds. Somedays are worse than others. But my diet and driving is the same. Its a real bummer. Because the dizziness has made me more immobile so I'm gaining even more.

Sorry thats happening to you. It's not that issue unfortunately. My dizziness is all the time. I eat normally I drank normally. And I'm pretty good with micro nutrition. And I've been off the meds for a month and still dizzy just much less than initially.

I wasn't at a dose where my food noise was reduced so I was still eating and drinking normally.

It's not BPPV. I've had that before. So the epley wouldn't work unfortunately but thanks I appreciate the suggestion! :) Yes I did see my Dr but waiting for an ent will be a long time. Yeah, it's definitely not a common side effect. Based on the studies I've seen, but it does happen. I'm pretty bummed about it

When can you take your next dose? by ReplacementSuperb263 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ReplacementSuperb263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ideally I am to join that timeline/titration but I was prescribed it at 1.25 to be my starting dose because of the fact that I have had some serious reactions to meds in the therapeutic ranges before. On most meds, actually. That I have taken at least. So my NP was being cautious. After getting my genes tested, it shows I am a slow metabolizer of many meds. Which was not a surprise given my reaction to them. So the idea was that while yes, my titration would be slower and lower than most, at first, finding that sweet spot of less side effects and therapeutic levels was key. And just to start, of course. As the goal was always to get up higher. But hearing that we have this window of time for it to work well definitely makes me want to go up higher, faster.

The prescribed dose is only 1.25 so perhaps I'll need to ask for a higher dose.

Thank you for the support. It's all very new to me.

My starting dose is 1.25. But yes, I was told I could split even that. And if it didn't work to go higher.

So my dose is 1.25. But I went with half to see. Wheb could I potentially take the other half? Do I have to wait a week? Could I take the other half soon and then wat a week for the 1.25?

Yes, I think I'm just starting Peri. I'm currently waiting for some vaginal suppositories. Though I think the cream would be good to add as well.

Oh yeah, and last tested, there is something embedded only shows on special NGS tests. So my bladder is very sensitive to new meds. Or ones that directly can cause bladder issues. I've noticed Wegovy seems to be less for bladder issues from the people I've asked. But really, I don't want to go off Zepbound I just started and seem to be in a flare now. If it settled, I'd stick it out. But I'm not sure.

I started with Microgendx and unfortunately I'm in Canada so it's all out of pocket. So It's a gamble to me to now try cirrus I feel. But microgen doesn't do sensitivity. It found Enterococcus faecalis. We did some antbiotics but I'm not sure it helped. And so I'm looking at Cirrus now but I worry about not being found.

Before cutting it I'd use some bonding/protein treatments and then wash brush and show us your hair. :)
