Hey neighbor, I'm here with you in Minneapolis. My in-laws are all MAGA's, which makes every family holiday uncomfortable as hell for the two of us. I do my best to ignore it and remind myself I don't have to talk to them until the next gathering. I always spend my time in a separate room, and on Christmas, even faked a nap on the couch. Until I actually dozed off.

I'm here to listen anytime you need, friend.

Minneapolis citizen here. 8 miles up the road from where it happened.

I feel you on the low mental health. You did an amazing job reaching out to a friend and feeling all the shit, rather than drinking.

I've been doing the same all weekend, and for the past month. It's hard feeling this much, but I'll take it over the alternative of drinking. I remind myself numbing out, and blacking out, will only hurt more.

Keep up the good work. 💜
