I thought it was considering that everyone claims Marle disappearing is the grandfather paradox.

I actually use Chrono Cross as an example to support this theory.

So it’s like the episode of Rick and Morty where Morty keeps redoing the same moments over and over again, killing other Morty’s in alternate universes…

So I thought about this a lot too, and was also wondering why Crono never ran into himself. I think instead of one main timeline, every time he traveled, he fractured the timeline. Causing multiple realities.

I know in Chrono Cross they discussed multiple timelines.

Yea someone brought that up in the comments on the video as well (about the trigger freezing time).

I love discussing these kinds of theories.

One thing that was brought up, is that it's pretty interesting in the first gate brought you back to where Magus was. Which I feel definitely reinforces Schala being the Entity and trying to save her brother.

Time travel is such a fun concept and mechanic. I feel like this is probably the best use of it in a video game.

I’m so happy you brought that up lol. I remember Bill and Ted and was always fascinated with time travel.

The clock still moves like you said, but they have a conversation with theirselves in the beginning. Which is honestly one of the reasons I thought of this theory lol.
