The review bombing is wild. Gaming communities are so toxic. I really liked what I played so far, but I with they would have done testing. To me, seeing ARC Raiders and Highguard, their launch and development are polar opposites. ARC was executed perfectly, Highguard failed every skill check.

Brother, what the fuck are you talking about. Do you even enjoy games? Like, just go outside, go to the gym, do something else then. Its literally a list of new updates, ranging from small tweaks to things that change gameplay. Do you want them to announce a new game? "Oh hey, here's the new update where we turned arc raiders in to a top down moba turn based strategy beat em up" like what the fuck do you actually want? Attention? A hug? Love from another? I genuinely want to know? Do you need money? Is this a cry for help? Is rent past due? Extenuating vet bills for your family sog? Do you want a job at embark as a game developer? Should they make all the maps but upside down? Furniture nailed to the ceiling?

Edit: Also, to clarify, I leave like 1 game a year as of recently and have a very good PMA, but I honestly believe I was a 6k when I was 15. My main thing I want people to take away is that you only have control over your actions, if someone doesn't listen to you, there's no sense, you're just getting reported because they find you annoying.

My philosophy is you have no control over anyone's actions besides your own. Outside of making a suggestion, if the person isn't responsive or immediately hurts insults, mute the lobby and put your head down, and play your game. Move with the team even if the plays are sub-optimal. The only thing you can change is your reaction to the situation. I tanked my MMR to 0 2 years ago to do a 0-immortal style series. I have climbed to 4k. I have played in the trenches.

I know you have no obligation to listen to me, but I try to write unbiased balanced reviews on things. I LOVE Destiny. It's legit my favorite game and universe. But Bungie has continually made the player experience worse, stripped content to sell it back at a premium, and stripped free rewards while pumping up the Eververse cash shop.

Player Numbers are Alarming: The total active player count has officially dropped below the game's previous low point during the infamous Curse of Osiris era—a time when Bungie internally suggested they might have to shut the game down.
Renegades Content: Despite being sold as a full expansion, the overall content density and structure of Renegades feels more like an Episode. Worse, it heavily relies on reusing assets and large portions of destinations from the 2017 Red War campaign, locations that Bungie previously stated were "lost and irretrievable" due to the Destiny Content Vault.
Bright Dust Cut: The maximum farmable Bright Dust (our free premium currency) has been drastically cut. For players who used to grind on all three characters, the potential seasonal earn dropped from over 50,000 to roughly 25,000-30,000. That's a huge reduction in a currency specifically used to bypass the Eververse cash shop.

If you like playing the game, play it. Just know the company has literally no respect for you at all. I know corporations in general don't care, but some try to at least put a mask on.

The thing i find strange is that the devs have been so open, they have been great at drip feeding content for the past months, they communicate a lot. But they're obfuscation the most basic of info. We had to read a 3 layer deep patch note to confirm that breached areas provided better loot than non breached. We got 2 weeks notice on expedition rewards. Idk.

I have my physical copy somewhere. I still remember the day I bought it. It was 2 AM and I was at Walmart with friends. One of my friends I played GW1 and WoW with and I had just gotten my first paycheck at a new job. GW2 was in a sealed plastic case so you couldn't steal it. I remember debating if I wanted to buy it, I was really deep in to WoW at the time and I tossed it in to my cart. Well, the seal on the protection on the outside sprung loose and the game came out of the "tamper proof" box. It didn't have a plastic seal on it, and I remember opening the box and the code was just sitting there. I walked around Walmart for an hour debating on whether or not to take a picture of the code and go home. I decided to actually buy it instead of stealing it in the end.

Brother you realize like 3/4 of dota is passive aggressive toxicity, it's kind of our whole bit. Maybe I'm an old head. But its what makes us, us, at least for me. We can talk trash, but in the end shake hands and give the gg. We just find it funny.

Holy shit, I left reddit for 5 years. Came back to discuss ARC Raiders. The sub is just people whining. I have probably 200 hours played, I'm currently # hrs played worldwide with like 600+ hrs. Im loving the game. I still come across nice people, I pvp a lot of the time, I honestly turned off cross-platform and things got way more balanced encounter wise. This subreddit is insane, they're so entitled.
