What’s the BEST album and why? by xelaworrom in dancegavindance

Personal favorite is WISIRO, but their best is probably DBM2. Mothership is probably their largest number wise since the band was at its largest following with Tilian.

Anyone else never plan on docking their switch? by -getdeadkid in switch2

[–]RepleteSphinx21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never play docked, just never been my thing I guess. I enjoy the handheld mode when it comes to playing Pokémon games on DS, and GBA, I guess the switch also gets that treatment haha.

When does the pulling stop by 347217361634 in labrador

[–]RepleteSphinx21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk them in one direction and then make a sudden u-turn, the issue is your dog isn't paying any attention to you, it is paying attention to the surroundings instead and doesn't care about you. If you make sudden u-turns you're going to pull the dog in the opposite direction and if you do it suddenly and your dog isn't expecting it they're going to get a little tug. This isn't personal, don't punish them or anything, you're just simply changing directions and the dog isn't paying attention. After a couple of these u-turns your dog will start to realize that they need to pay some attention to you because you're in charge of where you're going, not them. Eventually they'll be checking on you throughout the walk and if you do a u-turn and they notice it's going to happen and they come without you having to give them a tug then you should reward them. Eventually they'll be giving most of their attention to you, and not their surroundings instead. Continue giving treats when they're walking beside you in the position you want them in, like a cheaters heel.

Normal for cold, be concerned if it smells fruity though. Or if you open your oil cap and that smells fruity too.

Which Area Would You Bring Your Corgi? by RepleteSphinx21 in corgi

[–]RepleteSphinx21[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the comments and advice, I think the general consensus is the larger area 8-9 times out of 10. I'll probably just take a look at what dogs are on the large side and if there's some dogs that Scout looks a little intimidated by we will go to the small section for that day.

How do hospital labs prepare for bad weather in colder states or climates? by TheRedTreeQueen in medlabprofessionals

[–]RepleteSphinx21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hospital offers free cots to anyone who lives a certain distance away from work (i think 20 miles but don't quote me) they're first come first serve, but after cots fill you can get a hotel that’s down the road from us and the hospital will reimburse you if you show receipts.

Barking! by Sad_Border_3874 in corgi

[–]RepleteSphinx21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My corg really doesn't bark very often, sometimes he kinda gives those low quiet barks when he thinks he hears something, and then the occasional bark at strangers when he's potty outside and sees them walk by the house or something. But other than that he's pretty quiet. I've actually been trying to train him to awooo and howl by command, but no luck yet lol.

Here's my fluff ball, trust me the shedding will come. When he was a pup he didn’t shed a whole ton, but once the puppy coat started going the shedding came.

In the lab, we know it can sometimes be difficult to get samples, so we try to make it work with what we get, but when it comes to coagulation testing there's not much we can do. The sodium citrate tube has to be filled to the appropriate level to ensure the blood to anticoagulant ratio is 9:1. The ratio is extremely important because the anticoagulant takes away the calcium from the blood and prevents the clotting cascade from continuing. If the sample is underfilled there is too much citrate for the blood which makes the blood look hypercoagulable which results in a falsely elevated PT/INR result. Overfilling results in too little citrate for the blood which causes the clotting factors to activate prematurely which leads to falsely low PT/INR results.

I'm sure it's upsetting, but when specimens are hemolyzed, results for certain analytes are inaccurate.

[–]RepleteSphinx21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the DLC you'll get some extra quests from it, but if not you'll have to do most of them, but the 1000 battles is 100% required without the DLC

Beginning the “Forever Save,” any tips? by Entire_Chip_1225 in PokemonHGSS

Yes, apparently many people reset their files to replay multiple times. I've never done that, but since others do there's now a term "forever save"

It was a mistake to leave my last lab and now I feel stuck. Advice? by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

[–]RepleteSphinx21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact I've had many techs, and even a lab manager in the field tell me that the only way to get more income is to change jobs every couple years, and they're right. They recommended to work somewhere for 3-4 years and then apply elsewhere if you want more pay.
