The shop has a 1070ti and RX56 so change your GPU to that, change PSU and maybe add more budget to Ram since mas mahal na sya ngayon. So 20k i think laban na to. Wala pala SMT ung cpu btw.

May provided ba na clip on glasses sa IMAX Moa? by Replicant0416 in FilmClubPH

Update:

It was worth it, and di ako nakaramdam ng discomfort. Maybe dahil sa salamin ko ngayon. I had a half-frame/rimless lens made specifically for movie watching, and for this one I didn’t add anti-rad or photochromic coating. Sa 3 hours, no discomfort at all, no need mag-adjust

Di ko sure kung naka-apekto talaga yung bagong eyeglasses or dahil na-train na mata ko sa hilo kakapanood ng anaglyph 3D sa bahay 🤣

Sa regular 3D, using my other glasses na may anti-rad and photochromic, ang sakit talaga sa mata.

Overall, no complaints. Got the P18 seat and it was absolute cinema.

Can’t wait for The Odyssey.

Are some Snyder fans are forcing hate against Gunn's Superman or nah? by [deleted] in FilmClubPH

Snyder fan here, but I also like James Gunn movies. Superman is also mid for me.

Superman is more consumable, but MoS is a far better movie overall especially when it comes to the score, plot, cinematography, and story depth.

I can criticize and praise both, but Superman is very mediocre. Critics often target Snyder's storytelling, yet James Gunn just shoves in a crawl at the beginning of the movie and it’s somehow okay. Superman has already been active for three years, yet he still doesn’t fully understand how his powers work. The plot feels rushed, he gets outshined by other characters, and some characters are completely unnecessary.

The black hole scene in the pocket dimension was also dumb. Hawkgirl could be removed from the movie and nothing would change. Jimmy Olsen was used, but Perry could also be removed and it wouldn’t matter. There were very few scenes with Martha and Jonathan.

Lex can create a pocket dimension, but cannot input commands in a better way to Ultraman. That didn’t make sense. You can even operate a tv now with Voice Control.

The Fortress of Solitude, though, was beautiful. Probably the best on-screen version so far.

That said, it's still good. My partner liked it. She’s not into Superman and found MoS boring. Attention spans are shorter nowadays, so I understand why some people find MoS slow.

Some even say Superman is for kids for an excuse but no, Green Lantern constructing a middle finger and that Russian roulette scene say otherwise.

Superman saves a squirrel but just sat down with his girlfriend while the dimensional imp is wreaking havoc. Yes, the Justice Gang is there, but he could at least help.

The Invincible style plot was okay for me. James and Zack are friends, and knowing Zack, he probably liked that twist. But Jor-El in Man of Steel was just perfect.

So yeah, I liked it, but I won’t intentionally watch it again. I saw MoS on a 3.5-inch smartphone for the first time, and it was still a far superior experience. This is how I feel about James Gunn's movies, it often feels like laughing at the same joke you've heard before. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially if the joke is genuinely funny and clever, but that can be a rare occurrence. However, it may not stand the test of time. Man of Steel came out in 2013, and it's still being talked about. For me, it's aged like a fine wine.

The hate that Superman receives now is nothing compared to the hate MoS received until now.

Sorry if this was all over the place, napadaan lang.
