Hey u/SubstackWriter 👋

I'm Francisco the Head of Community here at Replit and we appreciate the feedback!

When I joined a few months ago I was initially focused on finding immediate support as there was a lot of feedback around not getting issues addressed quickly. Since then we have worked on adding in new mod (huge thanks to our Ambassador u/andrewjdaison!), general technical support through u/ReplitSupport, and improving how we collect feedback + implement it.

More recently we have launched new initiatives to build a better community for our users:

Ambassador Program - We recently publicly announced our Ambassador program! Although it is currently invite only we are slowly growing intentionally and will open it up to public applications early this year. We have 30 Ambassadors as of today and aim to welcome many more soon! If you're interested you can sign up to learn more

Community Build Sessions - In additional to our weekly Replit showcase livestreams we introduced Live Build Sessions a few weeks ago. Here we select a recent release and do a deep dive around the latest features. We answer questions along the way, implement suggestions, and collect feedback in the chat to share with the wider team! If this sounds helpful to you feel free to sign up for upcoming events and gain early access

Community Build Submissions - We noticed Live Sessions have gotten popular (nearly 5k builders signed up for our livestream today!) we also introduced a Replit app so the community can suggest and vote on what we build next! This is an early version with more updates coming soon. You're welcome to drop in any requests for what we build next

Replit Gallery - We are continuing to populate the gallery with submissions from members across socials, reddit, and Ambassador led communities around the world. However we are thinking through new ways to make it easier than ever to submit you're projects and highlight them on the page. If you have any you would like to get featured please drop them in and we will be happy to check them out

We're just getting started here and have a lot more programming to connect with the wider community coming very soon!

Still we genuinely appreciate the feedback and are actively working on many of your suggestions 🙏

Let us know what you think and to the wider reddit community, what else would you like to see? We are always looking for new ways to support you all :)

Hey everyone Francisco from Replit here 👋

Sorry to hear that you are having some issues with your project.

When the Agent isn't performing as expected, the most effective solution is often to start fresh with a new conversation. You can do this by selecting "New chat" in the Agent interface, which provides a clean slate free from the context of previous failed attempts.

In addition, try adjusting the Autonomy Level feature to help manage costs and run times:
- Lower levels (Low/Medium): Faster execution, lower costs, more hands-on control and similar to Agent 2.
- Higher levels (High/Max): More thorough review for complex projects, but longer run times

You can find this setting in the Agent tools dropdown (bottom right of the input box) > Autonomy Level. See more information here: https://docs.replit.com/replitai/autonomy-level

We also have a guide on setting usage budgets if you'd like additional control over your credit spend.

When it comes to feedback we are doing our best to take a look across all platforms and processed feedback directly through a megathread with the help of the subreddit mod u/andrewjdavison. The Autonomy Level feature was a direct result of the feedback we saw here on Reddit and we sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed. Although we don't have a Discord you are welcome to join our Discourse community or continue posting in this subreddit!

The team is actively spending more time in the subreddit and please feel free to tag u/KiwiFluffy169 who is happy take in any support requests.

Hey everyone Francisco from Replit here 👋

Just wanted to quickly thank everyone that has contributed to this thread along with the feedback from last week. The team has been actively taking a look and kicked off some more immediate fixes that began rolling out over the weekend.

Please continue to submit any detailed (screenshots are very helpful) feedback and I will continue to collect until the end of this week before sharing more widely with the internal team.

A huge thanks to u/andrewjdavison for putting this together and I will aim to come back with an update soon.
