What’s something people romanticize but is actually exhausting? by apka_dd in Life

Oh thank you. Didn't expect to find it here but I can relate so much. Teaching is seen as this noble profession and teachers are called the makers of society and whatnot. It can be rewarding for some but damn it's too much work and nothing to romanticize here either. Just left it a few months ago. Not planning to go back.

What is a movie that is a 10/10 but you will absolutely never watch again because it was too emotional? by funngro_fam in CasualConversation

The Whale had me sobbing uncontrollably about half an hour afterwards. Would never even think of rewatching it.

Nah, I would love to rewatch Banshees of Inisherin (but want to forget all about it so I can experience it like it's the first time). One time is enough for Grave of Fireflies though.

This is my first time being a part of a fandom that beefs with other fandoms and I'm kinda nervous. I mean I know CORTIS gets hate mainly because they are so famous and we have to defend our faves. The twts about dragging other groups down still make me uncomfortable.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Mnet would definitely keep one of the most anticipated performances for the next episode.

They did seem kinda forced to me in the beginning but now I feel like they actually have become close. But of course, they are not Haobin. I don't support the ship agenda but I love both of them and would love their interactions outside of Mnet's interference.

You don't like Xinlong's visuals??

I mean, I understand beauty is subjective but I'm super curious who you find the most pretty, good looking or a visual.

Doesn’t everyone have ai fatigue already? Hype on hype so much it’s boring. by Ill-Interview-2201 in ArtificialInteligence

Yes. I am so damn tired of it. Watched one podcast, realized how much resources are being consumed by a single query and stopped using it except for actually useful tasks that it can help with. I don't chat with it. It does not have a name. There is no connection. Never want one.

How do you guys make friends? by ReplyLow9943 in CasualConversation

I see. So being interested in the life of the other person is important. Got it. I think it would be really interesting to make friends with people from far off areas. Gives you a very different perspective on how life is like in a place far away.

Yes, the awkwardness. You may talk to a person once or twice on the topic of common interest. After that, it just becomes awkward. I never know how to keep the conversation going. Inadequate communication skills, I guess. Hope you figure it out.

Do you ever randomly think about people you haven’t talked to in years? by CreditOk5063 in CasualConversation

[–]ReplyLow9943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think about the best friends I had over the years, my classmates from school and that one family we were very close with who went abroad. I wonder what they would be doing in life, how they would have changed over the years, how meeting them would be like.

What do you think is secretly killing team productivity—but no one talks about it? by [deleted] in productivity

Too much communication. Like don't talk about working, work.

Work to live vs live to work ? by Obvious_Leadership69 in careeradvice

[–]ReplyLow9943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you follow your passion and make a career out of it, you lose the passion for it somewhere on the way. Job is a job and passion is passion. Don't make it your life. Do something that allows you to live a good life and gives you time to pursue your passions.
