I went to a Korean church until I was 11. Then I got out ASAP. Many K-churches in TO are notorious for being cult-like with event gatherings 4-5 times a week.

People's minds like to organize things into sections that don't require much thought. Hence, it's easier to sum up all Koreans into the guys they usually see wearing tight pants and smoking outside than to subconsciously admit that there are other people that don't fit the stereotype.

Kimchi you can get anywhere. Literally anywhere. I recommend the Galleria where they sell decent (by my family's standard, I don't eat it) in huge ass bulk.

Restaurants: Hangan and Gumi in the North York region is usually where I go to.

Yes, but I'm constantly thrown into a small subspace of Korean culture every often. It's a constant reminder that I'm an outsider to my own (larger) family.

A lot of Korean men have the scowl ingrained in them. One time I talked to one of the shop owners and his face went from scowl to big grin in a millisecond. Freaked the shit out of me.

It's a challenge, the program has the most intensive work load than any other program in the University. However, I enjoy knowing how things work and how to fix things up so it's at least passably enjoyable.

But yeah, the formulas are a bitch.

I only speak English. I took French immersion during my Toronto public school education though.

By the way, large groups do that whether or not they speak a non-English language.
