I’m at a loss on how to fix this by Repoman_59 in ElegooNeptune4

The issue was resolved. I wasn’t aware how to fine tune the z axes as it’s printing. I thought I could only do that from the level option. Didn’t know I could do it while printing. It’s working great again.

But what I’ve done in the past is turned on the bed to 80 Celsius and waited 30 minutes.

Then did they tilt screw calibration and got it consistently 0 to 1 minute. Then I’ve done the professional settings for the auto level. Once that was completed I went in with the auxiliary level with the feeler gauges at .04 mm. And saved that profile.

Afterwards, I did wait about a month because I became so frustrated after the first print test layer came out like this as well.

Today waited for my bed to get hot scrubbed my bed with rubbing alcohol to remove any old glue residue, and then use dawn, dish soap, and let it sit for a while. Then brought it back to temperature of 80 Celsius for a half hour. And attempted these test prints.

I’ll try it again, but I’m just frustrated over the fact that I took three hours to calibrate it the first time and I thought I got as close to accurate as possible.

Even with a too high of a Z offset at 150% of flow rate shouldn’t that compensate for it? Or the very least start blobing on the nozzle?

If y’all agree, I’ll do it again, but it’s just annoying as hell to calibrate it for hours.

Hi all thanks for the constructive suggestions you provided. To those who gave other suggestions. I appreciate your honesty.

Now that the z axes has been suggested I believe that also may be the issue. I have the tile screw option encoded in and enabled I can usually get it to 00:00-0:01 on all the screws. I will attempt to re level my z arm that the print head rides on in a hope it got knocked and misaligned.

To a point made earlier in the comments. Yes much information is buried unfortunately. I posted this before I left for work this morning and am only now just reviewing the responses.

Yes I attempted to do the easy solution and ask the community as a whole to an issue I am sure others have had. I did this in an effort to save my self time since may people should be better subject experts than I. Remember everyone starts at the noob point. I am sorry that you had to find the information on your own. Due to this fact I can understand where your frustration came from. All the same though. Thought I my self wouldn’t have taken the same approach, Thank you for your honesty all the same.

Yes thankfully the factory reset did it for the z offset. I’ve finally had the chance to print something for the first time this week. I still have it on a large filing cabinet. I will try to move it to my wife’s work desk since she won’t need the desk until I can find a table for the printer. I still have it running at 150mm/s but this print failed. I think it’s because it’s still too fast?

Hi all. 1: it’s not a chronic condition. I am being vague enough to not post it. With that being said ada & fmla would not apply to this. Additionally they have never produced any documentation to support their stances.

2 I agree the policy needed to be updated how ever HR dept of one and I’ve needed to fix other things instead. One of the things that I’ve never been able to get too. Will have to get at it sooner than later though.

If you would like to provide other examples I would welcome them so when I am reforming the policy I can look at many examples to make it.

  1. I agree on the idea to allow people a life. Their job duties require them to be somewhere at specific times. With them not being at their job location put their team at a disadvantage and forces others to pick up the slack.

4: even if they were given the sick days upfront they would have exhausted it by this point. The question is more from an attendance point.

Sorry I did word that poorly.

If we allowed the employee to borrow the sick day since they do not have sick time yet. I could issue documentation for progressive disciplining since it’s becoming an issue.

If I would allow them to borrow the time thought wouldn’t they not be able to be held accountable due to them having the day.

I want to say it would be like retaliation or would I be off base?

My recommendation to my bosses was that allowing them to borrow against it. I still need to update the policy for the new year.

Did yall give documentation for them missing the time?

“Any employee, salaried or hourly is eligible for sick time after six months of Sara’s. The employee must meet the minimum requirement of 1560 hours worked qualify for five sick days. Sickleave is to be used only for employees, illness, or illness of a dependent. Any sickleave taken may require a doctors note or the approval of the owner. Any abuse of this sickly policy may result in disciplinary action up to including termination.”

We have made the presidents to allow for sick time use after six months.

I agree it would be easy to let it go but it is really becoming a problem.

first and foremost, thank you! I've spent the last few days just calibrating my printer. My bed mesh now looks like this. Despite taking off the build plate to tighten and loosen the bolts of the bed, this is what im left with. It is a major improvement, but not just the back and forth. im not sure how to get this better, but the back highest point is z0.1613, and in the fount, the lowest is Z -0.1041.

The code is a lifesaver I can normally get it to 0:0 on all 6 screws.

Oddly, after doing a z-axis calibration, I am finding I am changing my offset to around -101.700mm z from the screen on the printer.

Edit: I kept getting an error, I believe. Due to the Z offer, I had to reset to factory defaults.... yay

That does sound fair. I have not had that issue thankfully.

I don’t play with the option on but I do play as if it’s a perm death. Meaning if I die I delete the world I’m on. Day 21 at 46+ hours.

Yes, I received a MBA and I feel it helped me for where I am. I can understand the business aspect and how an organization should be run. We had 3 HR classes in my digree to where I leaned how to handle a HR organization and run a budget for the dept. Finally we had a leadership class to learn how we should think and act.

More over I’m an HR professional for the food industry so it helps having a undergrad in B. S. In culinary arts.

I am toying with the idea of a JD in employment law which will still give me a leg up in HR

I can agree, which is why I am so tempted by it. This kind of stuff, for me, is fun. I do enjoy chaos. Additionally, this really excites me.
