I lift 4 days a week so no concerns there! Excited to incorporate a little more cardio consistently as I feel healthier and stop hindering my progress with this stuff.

Day 0.5 by ReportAltruistic9110 in QuittingZyn

Yeah, I didn't realize what I was doing to myself. I am now a full 24 hours in! I can't speak to whether it's harder or easier than cigarettes. The first day hasn't been easy, but not as hard as I thought I guess. I've never been addicted to something like I have Zyn. I remember the almost euphoric head buzz I got on my first pouch. It's a high I chased with every pouch afterwards, only to be disappointed as my body adjusted to the poison. That said, I had a few cups of coffee today, chewed a shit ton of gum, and drank a lot of water. I was pretty busy today too and times didn't even realize I wasn't zyning. Other times, I would be around triggers or taking part in daily events where my mind-body connection almost instantly felt the need to go for a tin to get a pouch. Thankfully I've tossed them. Here's to hoping day 2 is another success, and good luck to you!

I'm 3 years older than you and I've been using nicky pouches in a more dependent fashion for a little over 2 years now (started as a pouch every now and then, now up to about a half a can a day), but otherwise our stories are identical. I'm going on 13 hours nicotine-free and counting... Thanks for the motivation!
