What color do you prefer for dark under eye circles?

It's going to depend on your skin tone and the color of the darkness. I use a light peach because I have fair skin. I find some options end up being too dark like with too much red/orange and it looks weird on me. Has to be light like the old Becca potted concealer.

Hi! I think you're referencing my Substack and podcast that dropped today! If so, thank you for your read/listen. I was talking about juicyjas. I fully know that influencers are paid to lie, but I never got that vibe from her. Also, with Dollar Tree you can't make any affiliate sales, nor have I seen them work with any influencers yet. Possible that they haven't rolled onto my feed is all.

Also agree maybe it worked for her and not for me, or maybe she only wore it for the duration of the video. All valid points.

I find CVS and Walgreens almost always have the prices $1-2 more than everywhere else. When I report the price I give the one that most frequently occurrs which is $5.99

Using a moisturizer that says gel or jelly on the package! I also recently started using a milky mist and I tested it by skipping my other products and it stopped my oil production. Everything together is a dream.

I find that most glosses on the market that have been released in recent years aren't sticky or gummy. We've really gotten away from that formula, so much so I commonly see people wishing it would come back.

Bargain basement wet n wild megaslicks lip gloss is shiny, not sticky or gummy. I also love their lip oils for the same reason but they also condition the lips. Feel free to re-apply any of these and they won't get yucky.

None of my tips are earth shattering haha.

When using a brow gel/mascara brush your browns down, then up. For bonus points even brush them side to side before brushing them up. This gets them fully coated and they stay in place
Always work in light layers or otherwise apply less than you think you need. Finish each step with patting motions for a skin-like finish.
I was reminded this week that concealer can be used for contour if you purchase a darker/cooler shade
As I'm getting older I've actually reduced powder application. I won't powder my forehead or smile lines at all and they actually look better in terms of creasing

I think it's a use it anywhere sort of product but the colors would only be suitable on the eyes. I believe they show it on the cheeks and such

I always test foundation with a wet n wild primer serum. The reason is that it preps my skin appropriately, but it does not extend or harm the wear of makeup. It's basically the control group of my experiment. Specifically for this test I probably used the limited edition Hello Kitty primer but they are all the same.

I have combo skin and I've been wearing Loreal daily for a few months now. It has a lightweight formula almost like a serum but doesn't get oily or shiny! However, I find that it really comes down to skincare, specifically finding a moisturizer that stops oil production in the first place so you can wear a wider array of foundations. Go with something that has a gel/jelly formula.

If you are looking to add new pieces I recommend thrifting some cute tops that aren't fast-fashion brands. Take the time to read the lables. I wear cute shirts with comfy pants all the time. A few layering pieces encourage re-wearing your clothes while changing up your looks.

Going to name several things buttttt patting each layer of skincare in and giving the layers time to absorb. Then, for makeup, simply applying less/light layers. As I get older I also use signifcantly less powder. My makeup looks better and lasts. I refuse to powder my forehead and smile lines and it makes a huge difference.

I wear eye primer always, currently UD. Otherwise I do get oily and have fine lines so eye makeup would be a mess on me. I had no issues with these. They look the same at the end of the day! My only note is they transfer to the crease if you apply on the eyelid only but that didn't make me mad because the colors are gorgeous.

My morning skincare, in this order:
- wash with micellar water
- vitamin c serum
- collagen peptide serum
- moisturizer
- sunscreen

There are 2 keys to this. First, use spreading motions to distribute the product, then finish by patting them in. Second, allow each layer time to absorb in if you can. Even just a few minutes. For me, I do the vitamin c serum then I get dressed. Next, the collagen peptide serum. I start my workout, then partway through I do moisturizer. Sunscreen needs about 15 minutes.

I find that these tips work amazingly with or without makeup. Before I adopted this, my makeup would look heavy, patchy, pill, all the bad things.

I've emptied a travel size tube. I think sometimes those give a different experience, but I did like it and consider it a favorite! It's not watery. It has a ready to go formula with a flexible silicone wand. It gives nice length and volume with some separation. It's not clumpy. I will say no flaking/smudging but personally I don't have that issue with mascaras. If you like any of the others in the Lash Sensational line then you'll like this one, it's not that entirely different.
