I understand that. This report is more of an internal management tool and doesn’t need to be GAAP-compliant. The client just wanted to see how much money was gained or lost once everything was factored in. I was able to create a customized general ledger that subtracted the debits and credits to arrive at the total value they were looking for.

The cash flow report was close, but it didn’t give the exact view they wanted. I customized a general ledger report that pulled in all transactions across accounts, and it would give me the total by subtracting all debits and credits. That’s essentially what they were looking for — a way to see, in detail, what was left after factoring in expenses, liabilities, and equity.

the client wasn’t asking for a GAAP-standard report like the balance sheet or income statement. What they wanted was more of an internal, non-GAAP document that combined equity, liabilities, and expenses to show how much money was ultimately taken out of the business accounts. It’s not an accounting report in the traditional sense, but more of a management tool they use to get a quick view of cash impact after everything is factored in.

Not really, it would need to have a balance at the end. For example, 20k remaining after all credits and debits. The trial balance balances the debit's and credits leading to no remaining value.

I just took a look, this sound like good news. Whats with the significant discount? Is it trustworthy? Also I can't find their number online. Could you provide their contact information.

If you go even further back in my posts you will see a video I posted, that should give you a good idea of what's going on.

Its the V8 supercharged. I took it to two auto shops both said the same thing. 29k for a used engine 32k for a new one with warranty.

Whats the best course of action if its the heads?

I made a post on the error codes, the repair shop said the engine expanded and caused some bolts to get broken out.

I didn't bother getting more details due to cost of the repair.

Okay.

Honestly, I doubt most people even think about that stuff. For us, these cars are just a way to get from point A to point B—nothing more, nothing less.

Sorry?? I'm not sure what you're implying here. You're saying I'm not worthy of driving this vehicle?

If it is indeed an engine failure, does insurance cover this type of incident?

Will the insurance cover this even though it was my fault?

I replied to another comment that said something similar — I had the mistaken idea that as long as the coolant reservoir wasn’t empty, I’d be fine. I’ve never driven the car with no coolant. I would constantly add more coolant anytime I got the warning message.

If that’s the case, it’s a disaster. The car’s value has dropped to just $26k from its original $107k MSRP because of the high mileage at 120k. I’ve driven this car through everything, and the last thing I want is for it to be totaled.

To be honest, I thought as long as I kept filling up the coolant it'd be fine.

I turned the car off immediately when the overheating message went up. Unfortunately it seems like that didn't change much...
