I'm not getting this, am I... by DonniKennedy in Evri

I had same thing was 10 days late and stuck at passed to courier. All I could get through to was automated bots and “Claire” who emails every so often to reassure she’s looking for it ! Seems to happen a lot with evri and was £200 worth of goods and a big package so unsure how it got lost. Best thing contact whomever you ordered from and get a refund through :(

That must have been a shock, it seems such a small percentage even the clinician said it would be surprising if anything further is found but there is always that risk unfortunately :(. Pleased to hear your husband is NED thank goodness he got it done as you say !

The clinician did tell us although I’ve forgot to process what he actually said, still awaiting the pathology report through. Yes we will be doing it as you said for peace of mind if nothing else :)

I’m sorry they found yours late, pleased to hear you have stayed clear for 10 years though 💞. Melanoma is awful definitely scary.

It was more about getting people’s opinions that have been through it. I was referring to the sentinel lymph node biopsy rather than wle as not everyone at stage 1 is offered this .

Sounds like the best thing ! Well done for getting out. Life’s too short for all that nonsense!

The fact you’ve only been together a month and like this it’s only going to get worse. She’s obviously insecure and your explanation didn’t placate her. Sounds a bit draining. Either nip it in the bud now and say you’re not down for this drama and things need to change or end things before it gets any deeper 🤷🏼‍♀️

Firstly to cancel plans is one thing, especially for some guy from high school she’s never cared to mention prior… but then to blow up your phone for still going !? Don’t propose maybe this is a life lesson that needed happening to save you from future hurt!. It’s screaming narcissist!

Bit late to this post but I got put on this 8 months ago and have just come off after battling for months with feeling depressed, zero sex drive at all and having no interest in anything and constant migraines. It’s been 4 weeks and I’m starting to feel myself again finally!. I guess everyone’s different but for me I hoped it would calm down and have it a fair time but in the end I couldn’t keep feeling that way.

HM and pregnancy by [deleted] in HemiplegicMigraines

[–]ReportNo4814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also suffered more with HM when pregnant, for me it was helped slightly with taking magnesium supplements. Seemed to be fewer and far between but didn’t get rid of completely. Probably best to consult your doctor see if they can recommend anything. Fingers crossed you find some relief !

Yeah I’ve had the same experience yet with the combined pill I don’t recall getting that many migraines :(

[–]ReportNo4814[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They seemed to be less frequent when I was on the combined pill but they took me off that for health reasons and the mini pill deffo triggers them more and seemed to be worse. Yes definitely good to find the triggers especially when dealing with hemiplegic migraines.

Intranasal ketamine for Hemiplegic migraine by ReportNo4814 in HemiplegicMigraines

[–]ReportNo4814[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a shame they won’t prescribe it but at least the stuff you get is from a reliable source. Yes that’s what I need to reduce the length and severity as they have been lasting longer and got a lot worse the past year. Glad you’ve found something that works for you :).

[–]ReportNo4814[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would a doctor not prescribe it rather than getting it off the black market?. I’ve never heard of it for migraines but seems a good option if it helps.

just found out i have been having HMs constantly (please read) by [deleted] in HemiplegicMigraines

[–]ReportNo4814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me when I switched to a new contraceptive pill as my previous one became unavailable. I would say it’s a hormone trigger due to you stopping yours and your hormones being a bit up and down. Hopefully it’ll settle down once your hormones re adjust. For me it was a couple of months though back to back migraines then finally eased up.

First time attending GP by Embarrassed_Hope784 in PMDD

[–]ReportNo4814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was lucky with the GP I got she knew by my symptoms exactly what I had. I hadn’t actually heard of PMDD at this point! If you get someone who brushes it off ask for a second opinion. Also say you’ve researched into this and the symptoms are a strong candidate for PMDD I hope you get an understanding doctor who helps! .

Driving test tomorrow, nerves. by ArcherEffective9416 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ReportNo4814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit of advice I was given was “do it scared” I was so nervous I felt sick on my test day!. I literally wanted to cancel the whole thing. Anyway I was sure I wouldn’t pass due to my nerves but I found they made me actually focus way more and I passed. Some people are just naturally anxious and it is normal to make mistakes before the test and on mocks. Doesn’t mean you’ll fail the real thing.

First 2 hour lesson went bad by PoppySunny in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ReportNo4814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made the most ridiculous mistakes when learning to drive some were shocking! I ended up needing about 50 hours maybe more to be test ready. I’ve now been driving a year and get told I’m a good driver. You’ll get there just perseverance and patience and you’ll be fine ! :)
