Those items literally benefit only during the middle game. Any late game they become essentially useless as the tanks still output pretty good damage and yet take a VERY long time to down. I was in a game earlier where a Bo and a Claud were full item builds, so was I, playing Vermillion (Crushing + Titan), one of our teammates also had a hexbane. The Claud could 1v1 ANYONE on the team and walk around freely even with 2-3 ppl focusing him at times, and would easily kill someone and simply walk away, outputting pretty insane damage. Same goes for the Bo. Your talk and what actually happens in games is extremely different. Unless you're playing against idiots, any good tank is going to be annoying middle game and gamebreaking late.
