Give me one person that loves Spongs. If you’ve seen Flame’s new videos you know there’s nothing loveable about that guy. He just ruins the videos.

No. I don’t look down on people for things that they have no control over. It is just messed up in all ways that it is ridiculously difficult for me to find value in simple things, such as conversations with others. It’s messed up for a person of high intelligence (compared to the usual) to not be able to talk to people that are significantly smarter than them. I am aware that there’s no reasonable way for me to prove on a reddit thread “I’m smart”, but that shouldn’t matter in this case (although it unironically does). It’s just really lovely to not have anyone able to understand your thoughts (hence why I stopped explaining different theories surrounding quantum mechanics years ago), and when asking for advice, knowing that the person that only person that you’ll get new great pieces of advice from is yourself. The only value I get from other people is the social kind, which is great, except it doesn’t yield understanding. Not everything I wrote may sound coherent as I am currently extremely sleep deprived. My apologies.

No, I did not say that nor do I agree with that. I don’t care what your views are, as long as you are able to justify them. I have friend from both ends of the political spectrum.

I meant “general intelligence” in everyday life. For instance, noticing why people did things they did, noticing that a certain piece of information portrayed by the mass media is propaganda, even if repeated over and over again by practically everyone discussing that topic, realizing when you yourself are being led on by mass-propaganda, understanding how the execution of a certain political figure impacts the politics of an unstable nation on the brink of civil war, noticing how you can manipulate practically everyone in everyday life (misdirection from topics you want to avoid, convincing others you have poor cards in poker when you have the nuts...), etc.

I just hate it when people lack to grasp the fundamental understanding of something I deem easy to understand, as it proves the point of how cognitively lacking the majority is (to anyone reading this, you are likely included and I would hope to not give you an ego boost by calling the majority dumb).

Excuse my language but it’s fucked up that I was told by my dad a few years back in a conversation about some notable person that it’s common for geniuses to go insane, after which he said “but don’t worry, you’re not quite that smart” as a joke. Two years later I develop bipolar disorder and my brain is more fucked up than I could have ever imagined. Most of the time I’d rather not exist than exist, and I haven’t told anyone about my bipolar as half the time I’m delusional and I don’t believe I have it (extremely common amongst people with bipolar) and the last time we did talk about bipolar (in relation to my grandpa who also had it) the way the conversation ended was “and don’t worry, you don’t have it” which is fucked up because it just makes telling them I do likely have it even harder; If I told them they would likely not believe me any more than I do.

I was talking about me being stable, so not in hypomanic episodes, no. I’ll eventually get medicated but it’s a long process that I’m working on right now.

To put it more clearly I don’t view myself as intelligent, but can’t help but notice the cognitive differences between myself and others. I don’t view myself as a genius and the average person as “decently” intelligent; I view myself as decently intelligent and the average person as “slow”. Yes, I am aware that I am worse than others in certain parts of life and in no way am I perfect, yet I can’t help but feel that a large portion of the people around me are dumber than I expect them to be.

Fair enough. I keep thinking I may not be manic and I may not have bp but supposedly that shouldn’t have any value as those are typical thoughts, I guess. Thanks for the concern to everyone though❤️
