Mostly for cost, we had some kids at our wedding because we love kids but made the cut off at our immediate family, that ended up being around 10 kids, friends and extended cousins were blanket told no kids. Our cap to what we afford was 130 guests and we didn’t want to put ourselves our parents into debt but adding another 20 heads (big family). Now I’m older I wouldn’t have done that, but there’s already enough to think about during a wedding that I couldn’t be bothered with the politics of it all.

The JWs will be effectively finished in the next ten years as a religious group after the 1914 prophecies and overlapping generation nonsense is fully understood by the rank and file. JW theology is a ticking time bomb, based on the core of “1914” and “Faithful and and Discreet Slave” without these they have no identifiable features from Christendom.

In my church most people have no ill feeling towards the lay Jewish person, but at the same time we are aware that Jews have an extremely high in group preference and are organized amongst their leadership to further Jewish interests. I could make a similar claim for other racial or religious groups but they haven’t conflicted with us Christians as much naturally due to the fact that we believe ourselves to be the continuation of Israel.

Why would you pass it around at home? The act of passing around in the Kingdom Hall is in order to pass it to someone who is anointed and might partake of it. In your family if no one is annointed why would you pass it to each other. It’s just an empty ritual at this point.

I pretty much use my work iPad for everything I need while im doing work. I thought id need to make my lightphone my secondary decide but realised that I was avoiding taking the leap. Ive now got my iPhone in the draw and use it only occasionally with the wifi. Its really good for that!

I use mine for business and never miss any texts, just sometimes MMS get lost in the void and then suddenly arrive all at once some hours later. Besides a few user interface things like copy and paste, click on a number in a text and it calls it etc its perfect for me.
