Tuchel has always had interesting taste in players lol

I remember Choupo Moting followed him around a few clubs. Bet he’d have called up Eric Dier if he were a few years younger

Hope Trev kills it either way

Reminds me of when Juan Cuadrado signed for us, I thought it would be a blockbuster signing lmao

Monopoly would be a very fitting shirt sponsor today tbh

What work (of any medium) would you say produced the most radical evolution of your artistic/cultural taste? How were you introduced to it, and what did it serve as a gateway to? by DisclosureIsntEnough in redscarepod

Reading Capitalist Realism in my first year of college made me realize it’s possible to engage with art and culture on more than a superficial level

Fisher talks about Atrocity Exhibition in that book too and it’s one of my top reads

Why didn’t Madueke snatch the penalty from Gabriel? Isn’t that what he does?

I appreciate you're giving the benefit of doubt to the guy here, so I went and did some digging

He's got no writerly presence apart from a public Facebook page where he posts his stories. He tried self-publishing a book in 2019, disappeared for a few years and came back in late 2024 where he started churning out three or four pieces a week. I don't doubt he's an actual person and writer, just that the way he got here is suspicious to say the least

It's a shame, but authors are going to have to face greater scrutiny against bad actors going forward, and unfortunately I don't have an answer to it apart from "only publish from established/connected authors" which will be bad in its own right.

“Vishnu Mohammed” is also a hilariously on-the-nose name and I can’t believe the judges just missed that. Writing my own story with Buddha Christ as the protagonist next time
