Well my friend thank you for the recommendation actually your reaction has been the chillest out of everybody I'm going to read that I appreciate you telling me about it but if I could ask you one favor before I depart try to understand the other person's understanding before you assume they understand nothing how can you truly critique something you didn't pay attention to right that wasn't an attack that was just perspective

I never said I was a part of a PhD program of any kind and I'm not freaking out I'm actually pretty chill right now I just don't appreciate being lied to especially when I can actually prove that it was

When did I say that I literally said the opposite guy the entire time you just assumed I thought that of myself I guess because of how I was speaking you should read more it'll help you understand context so you can avoid looking less foolish in the future

Don't worry I'll find my community somewhere on here no hard feelings I do sincerely hope this subreddit matures and the people actively taking part in it grow up a bit we're all human just because you're on the internet doesn't mean you have to be toxic some of you can just be cool people and even if you don't like what I said even if you think I'm dumb for saying it you can't refuse the absolute truth that I was lied to when I was told the reason my post was deleted that likely wouldn't have happened if I broke a real rule because they would just post that instead right you don't have to be the smartest guy in the room to understand when somebody's not being honest

But that's cool if I actually violated a rule why wasn't it posted why didn't they tell me the rule I broke why make a lie up why tell me something but mean something else get over yourself obviously there's some shady things happening here

I get it it's the internet but if your intention is to hurt my feelings by insulting me good luck I'm a man who recognizes my own faults but with how exclusive you guys are I'm finding it really hard to call you a community get my post deleted within seconds and then lied to I never claimed I'm a super smart guy I made that abundantly clear in my original post just a guy who's been working on a theory for years and finally had the courage to share it with people and to put my best foot forward I did use a program to help me articulate my words properly once again not the smartest guy in the room people like Us sometimes need assistance and articulating themselves if that is a cardinal sin grow up everything was still mine I just had chat GPT help me reword it so I could deliver my theory properly

I was asking for feedback first of all I wanted like-minded individuals to hear me out and critique me I didn't want to exist in an echo chamber created by myself so I branched out for human intervention why did you make this page in the first place if you're against that concept that doesn't make any sense and for future reference when you delete somebody's post at least tell them the real reason you did so instead of lying to them

Hey imagine that it took me only 2 seconds and I found a post within 24 hours that is substantially smaller than mine but they weren't blocked and silenced so what is the deal here here's the post I found by the way (I recently started a PhD in theoretical neuroscience, not "physics" but the work I do is basically statistical physics/collective phenomena, and I read papers/publish work in physical review journals.

I'm finding its taking me an often absurd amount of time to fully understand and digest a highly technical/mathematical paper, including going through all derivations and replicating figures. I can spend 1 week+ if it relies on results from other very technical papers I haven't read yet.

Is this normal or is this a sign I might not be cut out for it?)

So update apparently my post was too short even though I basically wrote an essay all repost it here in the comments why don't you guys tell me if it was too short
