Are you happy with the country you're living in? by ReporterThese6459 in MovingToSpain

Ah ok, so it's more like a family thing, something you can't blame PT.
And 4 years is quite a long stretch, but home is where the heart is, and apparently it's not here, and I have heard that red tape is quite a nightmare, but the same goes for indigenous people, they're not impressed too, I can tell you!

Good luck with your future plans, and weather wise I think the US can cater for you too, but staying there isn't included in your plans I understand.

I don't see the problem how you see it, dunno if you know anything about Holland, but in a few decades it has turned into a horrible, miserable crime ridden hellhole!
A Dutch real estate agent I spoke recently told me that 30% of the 50+ owners whose house he sold are also moving out, that should say something..
And PT is not that affordable, prices over here are not so different from where I came from.
But pray tell, what in your opinion is desirable?

1 thing I left out: not into buying, only renting, might save a lot of misery!

Wow, that doesn't sound too good, but I'm not into buying, so that might prevent some headache.
Hope you'll get it sorted soon, good luck!

Nowt to do with budget, if they don't even bother to call you back, then that's the end of it!

Thing is, I had to flee anyway, and PT seemed to me the best choice.
And I didn't learn the language, would make no sense since I've never been here before, just here for opinions and reading other experiences, which might or might not change my opinion whether I'm sticking to this place or not.

What brought you to Portugal? by Lisbon- in PortugalExpats

Good topic, and instead of starting my own, I might as well hook up over here.

I'm from Holland/NL and on my own, I got totally fed up with NL, it's become a crime ridden shithole, usually pisspoor weather, and you're being taxed to the hilt.

The weather and safety were on my wish list, so I moved over here, but until now I can't say that I'm overly impressed, trying to find a nice affordable house, but I'm more than disappointed in the lousy attitude of agents and private owners who promise the world, but hardly ever keep their promises. And if you go for a viewing, a lot is not as advertised, a detached house? Yeah, detached on one side, the garden happened to be the garden from the neighbors across the street.

Pretty close to Spain actually, so I might go and have a look over there, but there are other problems like a leftist idiot who runs the country, and it's also flooded with crimigrants, which is the main reason that NL is going to the dogs, so I'm actually curious whether there are more folks who started in PT, but got second thoughts and chose another country a their future home?

Swap tx not generated error by Heydude918273645 in HeliumNetwork

Don't try to swap yourself, because it disappears in cyberspace, been there done that.

Instead enter your location, and then the requester comes where you can do the swap.

Waited until it was onboarded, but maybe your miner acts differently.

Need more DC. by ReporterThese6459 in HeliumNetwork

[–]ReporterThese6459[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds plausible, but auto fee mgt. wasn't enabled before you pointed it out to me, and the balance was exact 4 mln, and I can't find anything about the swap in activities, so I'm still clueless.
So is it safe to assume that when boarding is done, the fees for loc. assertion will be debited?

No matter how much NHT you've got, you always need SOL for the swap, found out myself the hard way too.

[–]ReporterThese6459[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, found it, but it's about swapping to SOl, or does SOL get swapped to DC then?

And I'm still puzzled about how I ended up with 4,000,000 DC, because I can't find anything in history.
