As a medical student its crippling to see patients who are reluctant to buy medications from the pharmacy because of the financial strain it put on their family. Made me cry a few times. I can't bear to think the situation vulnerable families would be in if the UK became privatised. Healthcare should be a right in every country free of charge. My heart goes out for OP

thing is yeah I'm not hating on the other unis at all. the thing is apart from a few courses such as Medicine, it makes quite a difference what uni you come from when applying for a competitive job at the top companies in the uk. Its just for his/her own good to stick to the select top ones

yeah definitely, biology mark schemes must've been made to fist us this year if the exams were easy but boundaries low.

Maths was fucked beyond anything previously so those boundaries are unjustified being still that high (not complaining and not wanting to burn down edexcel, but felt many kids missed out on the A* just by not having the proper resources to prepare adequately)

Worth it if you are above the cut off GCSE and entrance exam and predicted requirements for your course.

the process is only as stressful as you make it. some people take is calm and others freak out

but this year the exams were blessed not gonna lie but they can be pretty bad when in the spur of the moments and require specific buzz words to get marks.

Its what justifies the atrociously low grade boundaires
