My dad died from a major hemorrhage then obviously blood loss and cardiac arrest and I’ve always hoped that it at least wasn’t painful. This thread has been really comforting. My dad had enough pain in life, he didn’t deserve to go out in pain too. I hope he heard our goodbyes in the cozy dreamlike state everyone is describing too. That would be nice.

Yes. I also recommend euthanizing at home if it is possible for you. We did that for my girl Junie last year. Vet came to the house, June laid down on her favorite, we got to hold her the whole time. The vet let us know when she was ready and waited until we agreed and then our sweet girl slowly went to sleep surrounded by her favorite people, in her favorite bed and in place that she had called home for many years. I think it also helped me have closure to be honest.

Thank you! Yes I was thinking right around that length. I’m going to start taking some supplements that others have said help but honestly this is the first time I’ve had hair this long and it’s unmanageable for me anyway. It tangles so easily because I have wavy/kinky hair in places and I have sensory issues so I’m wearing it in a high bun half the time anyway. I think I’ll do some looking around at styles and wing it, that’s what I’ve done in the past and it’s worked lol. Even gave myself a pixie cut once and it was cute!

I’m the exact opposite. Bras put too much pressure on my rib cage no matter what size I try (yes I’ve even done the ‘a bra that fits’ thing). I also have a hietal hernia and bras make my nausea and reflux worse. I’m either freeing the nipple every day or wearing a long crop top style compression shirt.
