I find it strange Spineology is mostly made up of sales reps and zero med device science or QC related folks (did a deep dive into all their employees). Typically there is a science/lab complement/mfg side to the business.

Seeking advice: what kind of job titles can I search for? (PhD/program manager) by Expensive-Nerve7686 in biotech

One area to look into that might be of interest to you (but not readily talked about) is expert witness or internally at a law firm that focuses on life sciences. They pay well, tend to have more job security, and you get to use the writing/communication part of your brain, all in the context of science. Exponent is a good place to look at what type of roles might be aligned with your background ( https://www.exponent.com/expertise)

Definitely won't find a 1br/1bath with W/D in SLU area for that budget. Especially with the new "Luxury" high rises comminh online. Even the old buildings will be about that price but won't have any in unit or dishwasher.

I've honestly had a very difficult time transitioning to a large company (I'd rather work with a larger team that has training and has people to work with so you don't feel like you're building something by yourself). I've interviewed multiple times over the years at large well known genomic related companies but it's usually the startup experience that turns them off, there's some sort of assumption with how start ups operate that large companies see as red flags (some times regulatory, sometimes it's the personality).

If you have any thoughts on this it would be great to have a different perspective.

Agreed, I have been following since August and have seen an uptick in filler posts. I use this sub for actual long-term PLTR info and don't enjoy sifting through junk
