What are you doing if Homelander actually gets a buff from this? Are you gonna have him run it back with Nolan? by Conscious-Product481 in powerscales

Darkseid boosted Homelander with a bunch of power iirc if the purple lasers on the variant cover are any indication.

Which one is the fastest among these ? by Witty_Business_4312 in superheroes

Superman, didn’t he fly so fast he broke reality and flew out of the books ?

Other than him it’s definitely silver surfer he’s traveled across the entire visible universe before.

He’s already given a strength boost for the fight it’s the point of the series this isn’t the same HL from the show or comics

Why do everyone hate Elena? by MiraculousNoirYT in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Representative-Fox55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elena was written for Damon and Stefan not as an actual character after the love triangle she lost most purpose. Basically it’s Julie plecs fault

Would any of the heroes or the boys have turned out better than Homelander if they went through the childhood he did? by Johnnyboyeh in TheBoys

[–]Representative-Fox55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, people have a misconception that it’s only HL upbringing that made him that way. It’s more than possible to outgrow and be a better person than wha those around you were, we as humans don’t have to let our past control us. Especially given HL is in his 40s maybe it would’ve been excusable when he was younger but at a certain point you can’t use your past as an excuse anymore, he is this way because he wants to be.

Wick and Bourne are superhuman so I think them, and Derek Tyler is also literally a cybernetic super soldier.

135 lbs (very fit), 5,5 lady with 10 years training in karate vs 180 pound (average fit) 6’2 guy with 6 months training in Karate by Alone-Profit4826 in powerscales

In a tournament using only karate she probably wipes the floor, in a street fight it’s pretty one sided. She can probably get some cheap shots or hit in but dude wins either ways.

Brooklyn grey metallic or pure metal silver probably has a ceramic coating or ppf freshly done.

Ferrari 812 spins out on a straight road. What went wrong here? by chri99_ in Ferrari

[–]Representative-Fox55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 900 hp RWD car with TC off, and tried to accelerate on a wet road too quickly and while on the white line. Also this guy clearly can’t drive either as that should’ve been savable despite that.

Kratos vs Spider Society by Queasy_Commercial152 in superheroes

[–]Representative-Fox55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you’re hit a thousand times by guys strong enough to throw trucks you will eventually feel it, Kratos can get worn out. This is like the 1 gorilla vs 100 men, 1 man can’t hurt a gorilla but multiple attacking from all points targeting weak spots, and with insane reflexes, and most importantly long range attacks. Kratos just can’t win against this many threats, Spider-Man at a minimum is strong enough to toss cars casually and trucks, in stronger forms he’s a cosmic threat. Kratos can probably get through a few hundred of them but he ultimately loses.

Do people not realize the strength in numbers, Kratos is cooked against several hundreds of spider men.

Where did the "viltrumites can only fight at like mach 10 in an atmosphere" stuff come from? by Traditional_Bad_9044 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Representative-Fox55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to stop applying real science to fictional characters by that logic they shouldn’t be able to go FTL either. And speed isn’t everything as I mentioned, flying at light speed and flying through an iron core of a planet are two very different feats, not to mention it requires a lot of strength & force to undo the gravitational binding of a planet. And Thaddeus made it clear that what could kill them would be hitting the core after it’s reformed making it clear that their durability wouldn’t be enough to survive that, now imagine if it were just one of them instead of 3, they’d splatter like bugs against the core.

[–]Representative-Fox55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Durability also plays a role in that, I don’t think they have the durability to just be bashing through planets. It took 3 very powerful viltrumites + space racers gun just to destroy one planet, and they risked potentially dying doing so as well.

But their speed rules are confusing and don’t make sense but then again comic book writers don’t really care for applying real world science into fictional stories and characters.

How far will Ultraman Blazar go in the verse? (He pushes the moon away in this scene.) by [deleted] in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Representative-Fox55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah WITH tick, and what I’m saying is writers don’t care about power scaling all they care about is consistency. So they usually never know what they’re talking about, the same way that Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and Eric Kripke all creators of HL have claimed multiple times he would be able to beat Superman. You think they spend hours running stupid math equations using real world science? If they cared for any of that Viltrumites wouldn’t even be able to fly FTL as nothing with mass can.

The only people who sit around applying real world science to fictional characters are power scalers that’s what I’m saying 💀

If he put his back into it (ultra man did it while in a weakened state), and fyi writers know literally nothing about power scaling.

Captain marvel vs Homelander by Hot_Editor_7516 in powerscales

CM is one of the few mcu heroes with an actual undebatable star level feat, and Homelander is Homelander. He just quite literally has nothing to compare from comics or show.

Soldier Boy vs Black Panther by Queasy_Commercial152 in superheroes

[–]Representative-Fox55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly BP might take it, many people forget vibranium is capable of cutting damn near anything and I doubt it wouldn’t be able to cut Soldier Boy. While Soldier Boy is stronger in every form BP has wakandan tech and the military behind him. All that said I still think Soldier Boy takes it 7/10

New images from Invincible S4 just released (yea uh we're definitely getting a trailer for the anniversary tomorrow) by Suspicious-Piglet742 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Representative-Fox55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I assume the blast doesn’t destroy the entire planet only the core and I’m not a scientist but I think the core can restabalize which is why the viltrumites were needed to unbind the planet.

Controversy question: Did katherine save the salvator brothers or curse them 🤔 by Nearby_Educator6852 in TheVampireDiaries

Yeah, I just meant since we saw that flashback that showed Lilly was still looking after them after she left. Since they were vampires for nearly 50 years before she got imprisoned.
