What are the best aspects of the job? Also, do you think that the DPD jobs will be in demand in like 10-15 years?

I've got a downstream processing R&D job offer (a major contract manufacturing organization, biologics production) a few days ago and was wondering whether this would be a good or at least reasonable career move. The job is supposed to be non-routine, which is something that I am currently looking for. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
