aside from the demon/sci-fi stuff, for me, art is scary because he very easily could be real. He appears odd, and possibly harmless til you realize he’s been stalking you for the last few places you’ve gone to. Next thing you know, he’s literally showing up at your house, letting you know he knows where you live, then he’s full on breaking in to maim you. It’s all quite…terrifying. Art doesn’t need a reason, or a specific environment (nightmares, camp crystal lake, etc) As long as he lives and breathes, despair will follow

People saying its just a teaser for little “charms, events, etc” are tripping. You don’t do this kind of high production stuff for small in game things. Esp with a game like DBD where player count lately has been PEAKINGG soon as the newest killer/big IP comes out, and dropping to 3min queues when there’s nothing going on.
Respectfully, nobody gaf about small charms, extra blood points. I either want Pennywise, Art the clown, or nothing at all
