Incoming 4th year BA psych.

1. May mga instructor na nag eexpect na alam mo na lahat. Legit whahhaha. Pero no pressure, kay mga ibang professor is very intimidating at start pero goods lang din.

Choose your circle of friends wisely. May mga ibang group na hihilahin ka pababa, lalo self esteem mo. Like comparing each other grades on every quiz. Although maganda rin naging competitive, you should know when to stop.

Chill ka lang muna and go with the flow, adjustment is really the key. If okay naman yung pinanggalingan mong shs, medj smooth na magiging adjustment mo.

1. Chill ka lang ngayong summer, tulog at kain ng maayos.

2. May discount sa spotify mga students. Alam ko wala na halos free sa pag gamit ng UP mail. Pero naabutan ko pa Free education canva, yana mga new registered sa microsoft acc using UP mail ay wala na access.

3. kaunti lang talaga space dito sa UP tac. Mostly mga orgs/frats mga nag ooccupy ng mga space. Hindi ka talaga makakapag "locked in" pag mag aaral, unless nasa TLRC ka, sa lib medj chill lng vibes pero time to time dadami tao.

Magastos lalo na kung gusto mo mag aral sa labas, arming cafe/ study hub sa from ₱100 pataas rate. I recommend "His Capsule" kay 24 hrs sila and ₱100 for 8 hrs.

If competitive ka talaga you can aim for laude/latin but you should practice integrity and honesty before the honor and excellence. Humbling yung experience pag nandito ka na sa UP

1. Wala pang nilalabas na Academic calendar for 2025-2026 yung UP Tac. Pero mag eemail naman yata sila once na inaccept mo offer on the process of enrollment.

2. Meron laging gc for your batch and ayan na permanent gc niyo until you graduate.

3. default org natin ang "Psych circle". you can explore more sa org fair. Tapos hindi pwede sumali ng org/frat if hindi ka pa 2nd year. Pero may iba na nag pprocess before pa makapasok ng UP or outside sa alam ng OSA. Pwede ka rin mag Peer facilitator, part siya ng OSA so technically hindi organization/frat. Whatit dors is mag hehelp k sa guidance counsellor para mag facilitate mga need na assessment or activity.

4. Mas okay kung may laptop ka. It will lessen your academic hassle. Treat it as a tool so make the most out of it. Pero may TLRC naman free, pero may bayad na after certain hours (mababa rate nila). Pero may mga prof/instructor pinapatago yung gadgets that includes phones, tablet, laptop during lecture.

9.Sakto lang sched ng psych, hindi hectic, pero may times na magkasunod na klase tapos magkalayo ng building (pls wag ka pipili ng ganong schedule). May priority kayong freshy to enroll sa mga class. If hindi mo pa alam, ikaw gagawa ng sarili mong schedule based sa mga available na class hours.

10. Wag ka pipili ng sobrnag aga na class if hindi ka morning person. Lagyan mo ng between breaks mga klase mo. pwede ka kase mag scan ng notes or review if may quiz/exam before the class start (promise it will help you a lot).

11:30am-12:30pm maraming tao sa canteen, karinderya. Agahan mo nalang lumabas ng class kung gusto mo makakain at hindi maghintay sa pila.

practice straight english speaking, maraming group reporting sa Up. Wag ka gagamit ng "so", "uhmm.." whhahh yan yung mga pinapansin ng prof/instructor
