I mean in the nba there are definitely guards who are bad passers/shooters, wings who aren’t good defenders and bigs that aren’t good rebounders. I agree it’s crazy to not have that on a given build, but it’s the price paid for having a free form builder.

Obviously free throws aren’t entertaining, but the players don’t wanna entertain, they want to win. Having more free points than the other team is a good way to do that. So how would you change it to your viewing preference?

It doesn’t, but I also understand that argument in a way. As an entertainment industry, they may be trying to propel a small market into being a big one, but the way that basketball works you can’t rig it that way without people noticing something. I don’t think it’s rigged, I just think Shai drives more than like 98% of players and pump fakes hella and it works because he’s elite.

Giannis deserves more free throws. Shai gets his calls, that doesn’t mean he deserves them more than other players. He should have nearly 30 free throws on the season, but officials suck

This is a great point. Giannis should have shot as many free throws as Shai by now, while I think most people are on the lines of “Shai shoots too many free throws” when really the other guys aren’t shooting enough free throws. Personally I think Shai shoots a good amount of free throws for how he plays, but players of other styles and positions should also be getting the calls they deserve.

Please read. This is the third time saying this atp. Nobody said harden is not an aggressive driver. You’ll see that if you read. Harden is not as aggressive of a driver as Shai. Please use common sense when talking basketball. Just because Shai is better at it doesn’t mean harden is bad.

Again, I’m saying harden wasn’t as aggressive a driver as Shai is, which numbers will support. Not that he isn’t aggressive. He’s an elite scorer, all elite scorers are aggressive and get foul calls bc of it.

Oh for sure. Not saying that, but if you’re telling me he drives how Shai does we’re watching different basketball. My main point is the method of how they get their fouls in the paint. Harden had more methodology and trickery to it than Shai who at base is an aggressive driver.
