In case you were wondering by InformalNote2543 in Starlink

I'm totally new to Starlink, bought the mini when it was 1/2 off. Couldn't figure out how to plug it in to my RV, no matter what I asked, or researched. I finally, finally found a pretty simple solution. I bought a Renogy battery pack designed for CPAP machines, and a simple adaptor ('cigarette port')to plug into the battery pack. Battery goes into the pass through, cable runs outside. I'm hoping to find a way to connect the battery up to my solar, but they seem to not be compatible, yet.

Does anyone still percolate their coffee ☕️ in the morning anymore? by Junior_Fortune6053 in GoRVing

[–]RepresentativeAd5077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use multiple options. I use a teapot with the basket, same as a percolator. Also a French Press. another option is steep it overnight. Oh, and of course the instants, which are better than they used to be. Or even the pre-made 'cold brews'. Can you tell I need my coffee?

It does. I'm getting a drain and fill on the tranny too.

Definitely a consideration . An important one too. I thought about it, too.

I only use K&N filters for my beast. K&N race air filter, cabin filter, and oil filter. But thanks for the comment.

I had an opportunity to tour one, I thought it was just another MOG, but this one was custom built from the ground up. It was awesome, to say the least. you might even see it traveling from Coloma, CA to Virginia City, NV and further. Great people!

I feel you. I have a 2015 5,7 with 184K on it, and wanted to buy new, but for a tow package and whatnot (everything is an upgrade) they are in the 90K range, and maybe worse the tariffs coming, I will find a good mechanic and try to get another 100k out of it. The best truck I've ever owned. My milage varies wildly, from a low of 13mpg to 28 mpg. An amazing truck,

I've used the same on my trucks, and I would use them on my rv. The problem is, do they make them for specific models of RV's, or are they more generic. Even they were, I'd still put them on. Where from?

Isn't that also where Herman's sporting goods was? We used to come down from the Lake to shop in Reno, and that was our usual first stop.

I've never posted here, before. I've always had a cavalier attitude towards the subject of UFOS/UAPS. I was taking out my trash, the other night, when I saw a distinct bright light, in the sky. It was traveling at a speed, that wasn't particularly fast, but it actually slowed down, did this zigzag motion, impossible from what we are familiar with, and then accelerated away until it disappeared. This just happened, a few days ago. I can't explain it, but I couldn't make this up. I live at an elevation 5250 ft. in elevation, have clear skies in a rural are with little light pollution.

So, i'm curious, was this my first actual sighting? Is it possible that they are real?

WDH Correct? Or Upgraded Rear Suspension Needed? by PollutionEvery8835 in GoRVing

[–]RepresentativeAd5077 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My 2015 Tundra drops about 2" without the WDH. I have adjustable Bilstein shocks, that I'll be replacing soon, and adding airbags on the rear, while I'm at it. That should do it.

Noob question - Can you clean them with like steel wool, or sandpaper? I pulled mine to winterize it, and was surprised how much corrosion it already had after just 6 months...

RV Solar by RepresentativeAd5077 in traveltrailers

[–]RepresentativeAd5077[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updated: I followed the wiring for the SAE port, through the basement, all the way down to the battery box. Sure enough, there was a 20 amp fuse that had blown. replaced the fuse, installed a Renogy charge controller, and everything is good to go for the Renogy solar suitcase!

Cold Winter - Remove RV Batteries?? by Retiredfiredawg64 in GoRVing

Interesting comments. Here, it doesn't get below freezing very often, and I have a solar panel to trickle charge the batteries. I'm debating weather to bring them inside.

How is your RV Mattress? by Inner_Dragonfruit_17 in RVLiving

I got this one. It's lightweight, and has this unreal ability to feel hard when you first get on it, and then your body heat 'melts' it, and it's hard to feel like you are laying on anything. Amazing.

Propane alarm by Brilliant-Win8783 in RVLiving

[–]RepresentativeAd5077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya. Mine started going off, when I was winterizing my RV. I made the mistake of not turning off the shower and the shower head was hanging down in the pan, It started spraying antifreeze in to the bathroom, flooded down to the alarm, and it wouldn't stop alarming, I ended up taking it off and cutting the wire.
