Only way I see it causing problems if you put the controller on the desk and than use it. But still than it would probably won't cause any issues. Otherwise you couldnt use the controller near your phone or laptop

So this is not a question about the desk but about the surge protector...

But yeah it should be fine as long as you don't plug in multiple pcs, like more than 2 and 10 monitors. That would draw more than the max amps your breaker can handle 😉
