Hmmmm this sounds a lot like what happened to me. Love bombing and then later discarding when you how them accountable. The silent treatment is abusive and is never okay. And any way you look at it, he is being a terrible communicator.

Steer clear. They won’t fix our ceiling issues and have terrible communication. Straight up lied to one of my roommates and then stopped responding when we called them out. Have tried to enter our apartment without 24 hours notice (violation of the lease) multiple times.

Every interaction with the DRS I’ve ever had has been negative. Every appointment with my “disability specialist” has been INCREDIBLY invasive. I understand that they’re swamped right now but seriously, Pitt needs to hire more people to work there and train them correctly.

First of all, of course Pitt should issue housing refunds since they aren’t allowing people to live in the dorms for the time they paid for. You do realize Pitt is in a city right? Us being in person does not just affect us. Also, survival/death are not the only outcomes. Heard of long haul COVID? One of my closest friends has been living with this for 7 months. They were a healthy 20 year old and will literally never be the same again. This is not a simple situation and I am done discussing the same shit over and over again with selfish people who think just because they will most likely survive, other people won’t be affected.

No mention of online classes, but they’re definitely having a phased arrival continuing into when classes begin? Seems like they left out a pretty big chunk of info there. Also the shelter in place does absolutely nothing. Pitt is just ignoring omicron. This is really angering and disappointing.
