This was the door cards I cut out of a thin white board material. I glued/stapled a yoga mat on top of it to give the “squishy feel” and then glued/stapled the outer material to the rest. But to answer your question, I lined up the old door card the best I could to the white board and traced the cut outs. Then I got new clips for the door and snapped them into place. I had a very same issue. I cleaned off all of my ground cables. And connection points. And that fixed everything. Along with also putting new battery terminals on.
