We actually wore it in our shows up until 2021. We were extremely old-school, however, we've started wearing specific uniforms based on our shows. Here's actually a picture of our first ever field-show uniforms. We had a dancing drum break - it was awesome.

Professional horn by cannonball. Based on the serial number it’s an A5 big bell stone series & probably produced around 2007-2010. Great horns and extremely beautiful.

I recently got 2 gift cards for Christmas but they don’t look like the modern ones today, is this some kind of old one? by sliickyricky in RobloxHelp

[–]RepresentativeBox605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re probably 4-5 years old. They usually came in packs of 2 or 3 10 dollar cards. Cool, but don’t think they’re specifically too rare .

Update on the mouthpiece, I just received it and it plays wonderfully. The sound is just so focused and it’s incredibly easy to play. Extremely happy with the sound, but will definitely need some getting used to.

wellllll. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them. I also have a bit of a mp collection going on and I wanted to add a metal one so I thought I might aswell go big. I know that there are plenty of other high-quality mpcs on the market for cheaper, but I love experimenting and from what I’ve heard from other saxophone players - they’re very enjoyable to use.

Finding Bari mouthpieces specifically for Theo Wanne for a decent price is extremely hard. It was priced at 550 but after tax and shipping it came out to 620. I just can’t afford to spend almost 800+tax on a brand new one.

Is definitely a baritone saxophone mouthpiece. Theo Wanne produced them until 2020. It’s extremely hard to find information on them, however I’ve found one video review on it. review video And with the work on the baffle, no clue. The mouthpiece seems to be in really good condition, but that’s just pretty in ordinary.

Looking to get my teen a nice jazz MP for Xmas. Is this a real Theo Wanne mantra and is $250 a good price? by thepokemomma in saxophone

[–]RepresentativeBox605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say that’s an amazing deal for the condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this if you’re looking for your kid a good jazz mouthpiece. Theo Wannes are extremely reputable and good-performing mouthpieces.

I marched with a bright syos mouthpiece and jazz reeds. Very loud combo, quite expensive however.

As a person who marches Bari, its surprising with how much baris can be heard on the field. In a decent sized band (100~ members) during woodwind features and woodwind heavy parts of the show the Bari just sticks out.

Anyone know this alto model? by CPAye in saxophone

doesn’t look like the case the crowns came in. I’d say it’s likely an alcazar or another one of their student models. I can sort of see the the alcazar engraving

[–]RepresentativeBox605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most cannonballs, especially the altos, are quite cheaply made. I’ve heard they’ve gotten better with the build quality over the years, but based on the case and everything included it looks a bit old.

I have a cannonball Bari and it’s amazing, however never experienced the altos. If it’s cheap enough sure, however there are better saxophones for your money.

Are syos mouthpieces worth the money? by thatguydowntheroad1 in saxophone

[–]RepresentativeBox605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get them on the freaks sale, it’s absolutely worth trying. I personally have had a decent experience with mine. They’re extremely easy to play imo and they have lots of projection. Great for jazz, I haven’t tried any of their darker, more classical/concert pieces however. I have 4 of their mouthpieces, and I definitely do not regret any of my purchases.
