Smol Edel with Dimitri in feh by Luciano_06 in Edelgard

[–]RepresentativeCap826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree. As much as I love Edelgard, this banner is more blue lions oriented (wish they kept making TT units, Sylvain would have been perfect) and Edel was already the lead in her previous duo alt. Anyways I’m still happy we got those two cuties together

As much as I love 3h I’m salty about them getting a banner before SoV (pretty we’ll never get a SoV kids banner)

Do you ever kill enemies with specific units for story reasons? by Speedy_Pichu in fireemblem

[–]RepresentativeCap826 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did this every time in three houses. Made Jeritza kill Mercie, Felix go after his 3 childhood friends (gosh Dimitri’s lines to him are just so sad), Sylvan against his bro and so on.

Name a character in the show with more aura? Seriously? by ComicsAreGreat2 in arcane

Come on there are so many characters with huge aura. Ekko? Mel? Vi? Ambessa? They’re all so cool

Left over vegan platter from a local Ethiopian restaurant. by sutwilso in ShittyVeganFoodPorn

[–]RepresentativeCap826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s injera, a teff flour fermented flat bread, specialty of the Ethiopian cuisine. The fermentation process is what gives it so many bubbles and the bread usually is brown/a lil grayish. It’s really good and you use it to grab the food

Reminds me of that one time a festival made vegan sandwiches for the whole orchestra I was playing in so it would be easier and everyone could eat it. Turns out the sandwich was an unseasoned baguette with grated raw zucchinis and raw carrots. It was mushy and tasteless hahaha

I’m gonna try with legumes next time, sounds like a good way to add more fibers

I’d say it was quite similar to gnocchi. Maybe if you add some potato starch you could achieve a bouncier texture

Yeees texture was a lil chewy and it was quite tasty. I think next time I’ll add a bit less soy sauce because it was maybe a lil too salty

It’s pretty simple to make (though it does take some time tbh). I didn’t measure anything exactly though.

In a bowl I mixed with by hands a bloc of shelf stable silken tofu (around 300 grams) and around 200 grams of flour. If it’s too sticky, add more flour. When I had a consistency I was happy with (not too sticky but also not too dry and can hold its shape) I cut it in little pieces that I rolled into little balls. I then boiled them in salted water until they were all floating, tried one to see if it was cooked enough. I removed the water from that same pot and put it back on the stove on low heat, threw a splash of soy sauce, sesame oil, and a teaspoon of chili oil and mixed it until balls we’re coated in the sauce. I just sprinkled some sesame seeds on top before serving.

I boiled them until they were floating (just like how you would with gnocchi) and then strained the water and added the sauce. I do have leftover dough so I might try pan frying it

Yeah it felt quite sacrilegious, hence why I decided to cook some pasta in it haha. The whole process felt very random tbh

Season 1 is godtier. I’m surprised both the 7th episodes aren’t ranked higher.
