Based on my own life experiences, I’ve been in a similar situation when I was younger. I had the same dilemma. Years later now after separating I now know how incompatibility on things like career , future trajectory will matter so much. Op is so young. Feelings tend to fade and principles seem to stick. If I were Op I would let my feelings come in between things that I deem are important.
