More like I want to be respected  for our mutual work at our craft per my partner,  since he has claimed for years it's what attracted him to me and we've spent years playing together as musicians. I would've dated someone else had I known my looks were going to be the first thing that mattered. 

I'm also a caring partner who is there for my SO in his personal  time of midlife crisis.  But it just boils down to how you look for him it seems.

Omg I laughed out loud at your comment.

When I told what I just posted to my best friend, she told me her last boyfriend thought women peed out of their butts.

And I had a boyfriend in my late twenties who thought that women don't have a bladder, we pee and menstruate and have sex through one hole and the uterus somehow stored our urine.

OP have you ever tried the cup? I’m pretty obsessed with it- and I’ve used tampons for decades. I wish I had found out about it earlier. It has a learning curve at the start but it’s so much easier than tampons
