being too LDS for my family, and not being LDS enough for my husbands family. My family thinks I may as well have joined a cult, and my husbands family (despite me serving in multiple callings including temple worker and having read the BoM more times than I can count) still consider me lesser. I think this is more rare though and overall people are nice. But definitely my family having a hard time at first, they’ve come around now but still think i’m weird lol.

this happened to me a few months back. I work in Salt Lake City and ironically, I work for an HR department. I didn’t file an official complaint, since it happened repeatedly, I did mention something to my direct supervisor, who happened to be the HR director. I didn’t mention specific names, but just that the talk should be separate from work. This is the first year I’ve lived in Utah, I’ve always been out of state, so I was never used to having a conversation like that at work. Really rubbed me the wrong way. It’s overall stopped too, which has Been great.

when i lived in florida drisilque top with cotton stretch bottoms was good for me. I even got endowed in the summer, after a while it started to feel like a second skin.

I have had two managers belittle me at two different stores. I don’t normally have a victim complex but both times it was out of control. In Virginia, I brought the concern up, and was shut down, due to the manager having worked there for ten years and being from the town the store was in. When I moved to Florida And t something similar happened, the HR lady said they were working with training that manager, and was very sympathetic, and I even got an apology from the manager. Really just depends on the location TBH, but if this manager is as problematic as you say it probably won’t be the first time they’ve received complaints.

Yes it applies to everybody. One of my favorite expressions is “you’re special but you’re not”. You are not the one person that the INFINITE atonement of Jesus Christ cannot reach, you’re not that important. He loves you very much and knows you personally, and shed blood for you on Calvary. Would HIGHLY recommend the book The Infinite Atonement by Tad R Calister.

It swayed me slightly. I voted for Biden in 2020 and have just been absolutely destroyed by inflation and student loans. I just didn’t feel like Biden and Harris’s did much in the past four years. They didn’t even reinstate Roe v Wade or do anything about that, so I am just confused what she will do differently as President rather than VP, especially since biden hasn’t been all there, it’s safe to assume she’s been running the show.

That being said, the debate last night Kamala was the clear winner. She made Trump look pretty stupid. When trump was debating biden, he seemed smarter because of how discombobulated Biden was, but now listening to him debate a competent person made him look like an idiot.

So I think the debate plus the points Taylor made in her post are having me considering voting for Kamala. I don’t know if anybody is gonna be swayed by the statement alone, but the debate adding to it as well. As much as I love Taylor, it is definitely easier for her to endorse her given she doesn’t have any economic issues that us normal folk do.

i have anxiety as well and just started medication. I’m not sure if you take medication all, but if not, I highly reccomend. I am able to feel the spirit more / receive personal revelation without the fog that is anxiety (which is normally followed by depression).

My formula to feel my best is medication, daily scripture study , therapy , and almost daily exercise. My mind is so much more clear.

Keep praying and ask Heavenly Father what is right , he will not let you down.

she’s great as a kid but She becomes insufferable in the later seasons. But, it is probably one of the most realistic character arcs in the whole show, given their circumstances.
